Pours cloudy honey with a short lived white head. Aroma is intense wheat and yeast with hints of caramel and spice. Taste is mostly sweet caramel with some spice and banana. Slightly bitter finish. Sweeter than most hefeweizens that I have had.

1 pint, .9 oz. bottle. The bottle says "Wiesen Edel-Weisse", but this site says that this beer is the same beer as mine. So this is where I will put my rating. AROMA: Orange, banana, hay APPEARANCE: Pours clear and golden with a thin, dirty-white head that dissipates quickly. TASTE: Slightly sweet with just a hit of bitterness on the back end. Flavor has hints of orange, spices, and honey. PALATE: Medium-bodied with a somewhat creamy texture and lively carbonation. The finish starts off sweet but ends with the tang of bitterness. OVERALL: A nice beer with some good flavor. I can't say that it has anything that makes it stand out from the rest. However, it has a nice balance of body, flavor, and carbonation. So if you were to hand me one of these at Octoberfest then I would happily finish it and ask for another ... and another ... and another ...

Aroma is soft cake dough with some yeasty esters powdered sugar hints of peach skin and clove. Very soft and soothing. Taste is rather sour and not entirely smooth. Doughy finish. Slight alcohol. Ok.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, big white to off-white head. Taste: Wheat, yeasty, cloves, notes of banana and very lightly citrus notes. Typical German hefeweizen, except that this one differs positively that it is extremely well balanced and very smooth. Somewhat creamy. Nice refreshing weizen.
