Bottle. The pour was a murky brownish yellow with a large (2-3 finger) white frothy head that lasted a little while, reducing to a medium cap which created some excellent sheets of lacing. The aroma was of a light grain malt and a bold sweaty yeast with notes of citrus (lemon), banana, wheat and a bit of spice (clove and coriander). The taste was a tad sweet with a moderately strong citrus note early on, becoming rather wheat engulfed with a hint of banana, spice and was mildly acetic towards the end. The flavor lingered for a decent duration proceeding the swallow with a nice mild tart citrus wheat taste left to settle on the taste buds. Mouthfeel was a few steps above light in body and a bit watery in texture with a mildly strong carbonation. Overall a very impressive Organic Hefeweizen, one with a nice citrus banana taste and a slight appealing tartness at the finish. This is one of the best Organic brews I have had to date...

hazy golden color, attractive big white head with long duration. smell is dominated by clove. banana and some cascade fruitiness are in background. taste is not complex. tastes slightly sweet wheat and yeasty banana, but aftertaste is balanced. light bodied for a weizen. moderate carbonation. nice refresher, highly drinkable.

Bottle. Cloudy orange beer (lots of sediment), small white head. Aroma of spice, clove, banana, wheat, mild lemon and bubblegum. Taste is light+ sweet and bitter, of citrus, orange, lemon, banana, spice, clove, with nice fruity finish. Light to medium body, average to lively carbonation. Good, refreshing weizen.

TAP4 @ Schneider Bräuhaus. Big frothy head. Malty sweet lip-sticking boogie. Fruits and spices. Nooice. Let’s have the fest now.

Bought this one in April, part of a few popular beers I wanted to try out. The Aventinus made a strong impression on me, so why not try others.

What a great yeasty wheat! Lovely bananas with some nice lemony vibe. Light spiciness on the nose. Lightly sour, but also some sweetness

Trübe gelb orange Farbe mit imposanter, weißer Schaumkrone. Floral fruchtiger Geruch mit Hefe, Banane und süßer Malznote. Der Geschmack zeigt Hefe, Malz, Banane, Citrus mit guter Balance zwischen Süße und Bittere. Frisch, geradlinig, gut.

Probably my favourite beer among the ones that follow Reinheitsgebot. Good balanceof bananas and herbal notes/clove.

Pours dark golden, hazy with a big, durable head. The smell is sweet, dominated by banana, but there are also distinct melanoidins and some cloves. The taste is cereal, with notes of fruit, bubble gum and spices, it’s quite dry. There are also hints of burnt caramel and dark bread. Spicy bitterness, earthy, high for a weizen, but pleasant. Tasty and rich for the style.
