With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

Beautiful in the glass, with a nice murky blur that really makes me believe there is a lot going on. The smell is typical for this style and is ever so inviting. The taste is a little thin, but wickedly refreshing and easy going down. The finish is just ho-hum, but the after-taste is is pleasant. A super, fantastic session beer that is fun to pound all night and, because of the purity laws in Germany, not to difficult to recover from the next day. One of my favorite German beers. Cheers

Wow...really enjoyed this one. Maple syrup color with medium carbonation. Pours with a medium head that layers the beer for a while. Another great session beer. Clean taste, refreshing. Picturing myself downing a few as I cook some dogs and burgers on the grill on a hot Saturday afternoon.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy mahogany with a nice white head that dissipates slowly. Nice banana/ clove aroma, not as sweet as some, but very pleasant. Lively, fizzy mouthfeel which works well with the spiced, estery banana flavors. Very refreshing, tasteful beer. It would be nice to be a little more full bodied, but it does work great on warm days like these.

Has an unclear amber/golden look. Aroma is quite spicy, like gunpowder. Little sweet with notes of alchohol. Flavor is quite sour with a traditional sweet weisse yeast, thick finish.

My favorite beer. It is essential to let sit for five minutes while it lets off some carbonation.

A spicy roasty clovey aroma. Unfiltered and dark amber in color. Flavor is roasty wheat, bannana, and clove with a slight citrus tartness. Smooth and somewhat crisp on the palate. Easy to drink.

This is the best weizenbier that I have sampled. Has the yeast residue at the bottom of the bottle just like a good weizenbier should have. A little darker than a standard weizenbier, but no quite a dark weizenbier. Usually available at the better beer/wine stores, and almost always available at Austrian ski resorts.

Bottle. Pours cloudy deep orange with a nice size white head that dissapates. Big clove, banana, and wheat aroma and taste. Lots of carbonation which I didnt care for. Let it sit and the carbonation got better, but there is just a bite that doesnt work to make this a really good one.

On tap at Munich brewery restaurant. Nice and dark, with beautiful clovey phenolic aroma. Best weisse bier Ive ever had, and having it fresh at the brewery outlet in Munich was a special treat. Phenomenal bier.
