COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

Gorgeous color, fruity hoppy aroma. Flavor is distinct for a weiß, mellow and low key and much less citrusy than most. Very bready and rich tasting with just a slight bitter finish. Definitely excellent.

On tap at Prost! Boise. Cloudy murky deep orange light tan. Full fluffy light beige head. German wheat beer aromas light caramel malts and some banana along with toasted bready flavors. Classic mid-weight German brew.

Schneider Weisse Original pours a dark copper color with a frothy off-white head. Its dark complexion sets it apart from most hefeweizens. The dense bouquet is filled with notes of banana, cloves, nutmeg, pepper, and yeasty dough. The attack is malty with some caramel, followed by a spritzy, tart, and spicy mid-palate of banana ester, white pepper, smoky clove, yeast, and moderate citrus before it delves into the clovy, crisp, and acidic finish. The mouthfeel is especially noteworthy, as this brew’s fizzy carbonation, moderate spritzy body, and smooth texture as it goes down the throat make this brew complex yet very easy to mouth. Its dark and murky appearance and its tartness might not fit everybody’s tastes, but one must acknowledge the craftsmanship that goes into making this beer.

Aromat banany, goździki, słód. Barwa brązowa, średnia piana. W smaku banany, goździki, słód, nuty ziemiste, drewno(?). Goryczka niska, dużo ciała, wysycenie raczej niskie. Dobre.

Aromas of malts and hops were mild, hints of toffee, banana and cask wood, amber appearance with a fizzy off white diminishing head, flavours of citrus, orange and grapefruits, medium body, refreshing mouth feel.

beeebon (462) - Cornwall, ENGLAND - AUG 3, 2017
From bottle pours a hazy brown with thick white head with good retention, settling but lasting throughout. Aroma is banana, clove, nutmeg, a touch of cinamon, apples, biscuit malt and dough. Quite complex with a lot going on! Taste is well balanced medium dry sweet and a touch bitter with a slight sourness at the end and a lasting finish. A tad watery and fizzy in the mouth. Overall a really impressive beer and a fine example of the style which is really saying something because wheat beers aren’t something I usually go for!

Draught. Lots of ripe bananas, hint of clove and nice malty base, bit stronger than in normal weizens. High carbonation, smooth and lightly sour finish.

Bottle. Aroma- great and intensive combination of overripe bananas, clove and subtle caramel. Amber, hazy, with a medium, but short-lasting head. Taste- classy bananas with clove and subtle sourness at the end. Smooth, medium-bodied, with a high carbonation. It would be a perfect Weizen with better look.
