COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

Maybe it’s past it’s prime, but I was just not impressed with this one in the world of hefes. I appreciate it’s attempt at complexity, but it just didn’t come together well. Pours an amber brown orange with thick off-white head, decent lacing. Aroma of wheat, citrus, spices, and yeast. Not much more to the flavor. It’s decent, but not memorable.

Aroma is banana esters and light sweet grains. Taste is honey and more banana flavors. Nice balance and quite refreshing.

Aroma of ripe banana, a little clove, some malty, caramel notes are present. Medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour propably from wheat malt. Fizzy carbonation. Taste is dominated by banana's flavours. Low score mainly due to terrible apperance - no head.

Banan, przyprawy, drożdże. Dość wysokie wysycenie, trochę przeszkadza. Idzie w stronę delikatnie kwaśnego.

Bottle at home from Offie & Toffee. Nice pour that resulted in a pillowy head and a surprisingly deep and dark brown in the tankard. Lots of yeast on the nose and plenty more in the mouth. Both the taste and the mouthfeel were rich with the yeast and a pleasant sourness across the palate. There was a complexity to the flavours that showed how well made the beer was. I've been wanting to try something from the brewery for a long time and this did not disappoint. A cerebral and thoughtful pint before enjoying a glass of whisky while watching Cowboys & Aliens and the wife worked on the laptop.

On tap at Beer Time!, Nitra. Hazy amber colour with thick white head. Aroma of malt, lemon peel and banana. Taste of wheat, banana, lemon, dough, medium sourness, soft carbonation, sour finish. Good weizen.
