With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

This beer has a definite cardamom note and a spice to it up front and on the palate. Not a light heffe but more of an amber. We found this at palmers in Lagrange, IL. Nice fall beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Metne. Niska piana utrzymuje się bardzo długo. Kwaskowe w smaku. Aromat sfermentowanej pszenicy. Bardzo dobre

From Decervecitas. In Bavaria hefe glass. Playing GooCubelets The Void. Darker than usual and, although in nose the typical profile of a hefe is fairly notorious, in mouth i find it is more subdued, more plain, dully yeasty and drier that usual

Bottle in Germany. Very brown for the style, wheaty, complex, one of my favourites weisse

It's all right. Tasting impressions include hay, grass, banana, dough, amber, golden, hazy, white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, medium body, slick feel, average carbonation.

One of the better Hefeweizen, which means it's really good as the overall quality in Bavaria is really high.

A fantastic weisse beer. Pours cloudy, dark amber with pillowy white head which dissipates quickly. Enticing aroma of banana, cloves and other spices. Rich, fruity taste; refreshing carbonation sparkle; slight tart bitterness on the finish. A brilliant weisse beer, one which is likely to be my go to for this style of beer.

Pours a cloudy orange colour with bulbous frothy head. Strong banana and clove aroma and flavour with strong aftertaste. Absolutely gorgeous flavour and one of the best weissbiers out there (along with Weinstephan). Very more-ish and hugely drinkable. World class. The perfect wesissbier for a summer's day. Highly recommended.

Half liter bottle. Deep tepid amber with nice carbonation and frothy head. That typical banana clove nose we all love. Weak banana taste. Minimal spice but good mouth feel and a pleasant linger. Cigarettes but no cigars.

AndreasP (300) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 26, 2017
Classic German weissbier with banana and bubblegum in aroma and taste. Also grass and hay, leading to bitter finish. As good as it gets

IndianaRed (4869) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 11, 2017
On tap at Prost! Boise. Cloudy murky deep orange light tan. Full fluffy light beige head. German wheat beer aromas light caramel malts and some banana along with toasted bready flavors. Classic mid-weight German brew.
