With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

From Bottle. Aroma: Yeast, banana, notes of mollasses/brown sugar and malt, coriander spice. Palate: Very light, yet creamy mouthfeel and dryness combine to make for an interesting palate. Flavor: Banana, brown sugar, grainy malt. Lingering spice (coriander-like) on the finish.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2017 Drinked in bottle. Marvellous hazelnut colour. At the nose a strong mature banana flavour and a big sweet yeasty notes. In mouth is medium light bodied. Quite carbonated, some hints of sourness a short after taste with some malty sweetness. Very enjoyable

Babboo told me that this was a top 20 Heffeweissen and I immediately thought it would taste like one of those light, wheaty ones that you accidentally drink at a party where its Heffe or Bud Light. Poured a golden brown - much darker than expected- with a pleasant lemony and floral aroma. The taste has some definite mild spice to it, with hints of bubblegum and apple cider. Nice long finish. Good for finishing the end of Barry Lyndon with tummies full of curry and cadbury eggs mashed with peanuts (try it trust me).

Demens (414) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAY 13, 2017
0,5l bottle. Very thick hazy mud-like dark copper colour with medium lasting big creamy white head. Aroma: Banana, biscuit, floral tones with honey. Taste: A quite sweet rich malty start with a spreading sour tone that slowly turns into a soft bitter mouthfeel. Has a very creamy texture. Medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Long sour and a bit smokey finish. Very tasty but the festweisse ist krieg.

Aroma fruity, banana, cloves. Taste mid-dry, bubblegumy at first then some rather dry hoppy finish. A perfectly balanced weizen. Nothing more and nothing less.
