nose is an attack of tropical fruits and yeast with character beyond that of a simple weizen. with almost belgian qualities, the yeast brings a storm of cloudiness to the brew’s hue. people talk about fruit notes in beer, and weizens specifically are spoken of having banana notes. well this isnt a note, its a pineapple the size of a football crushed and smothering you! wow! still, this is tempered with an interesting spicyness from the hops that doesnt present itself with typical bittering ideals. in time the source of the spiciness reveals itself to be alcohol as well as hops, which begins its slow but pleasant burn. this is one of the most well hopped weizens ive ever had, maybe #1 in that regard. this is definately the best weizen ive ever sampled, the traditional style while comforting cant touch something of this caliber. at minimum, this is the first hands down ’10’ on aroma ive ever sampled.

Aroma of tropical fruit, peaces, pineapple. Upon the first sip, the bitterness strikes, but balanced with wheat malt, banana and again peaches. Bitterness lingers, but is never too strong. Unusual and very nice Weizenbock.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2018 Turbia. Amarillo-oro. Espuma típica de cerveza de trigo. Olor marcado a malta y plátano. Olor característico a especias. Sabor dulce, maltoso, plátano y a lúpulo en el retrogusto. Muy buena wissenbock.

UPDATED: APR 9, 2018 Barwa złota, mętne. W aromacie kwiatowo i chmielowo. Piana obfita dość szybko opadająca. W smaku bardzo orzeźwiające, słodkie z delikatną goryczką.

Pours the typical hazy and dark golden color with a frothy white head. Nice aromas of apricot, peach and wheat. Flavors are fairly fruity with a malty finish. Medium bodied. A classic!

I love this beer! I am a fan of Weissbier and this one is just one of the best I've tried. Nice full body and good carbonation. Aroma is lovely, banana, honey and clove and also the taste is similar with just enough sweetness to it. Very refreshing. Very nice beer!

What a disappointment! The beer looks super! Golden with a huge head and it smells OK. I did try first without the Yeast in the bottle and then with the yeast but it makes no difference. All the nice fruity tastes in the beer are heavily overwhelmed by cloves, which gives the beer a soapy taste. With that taste, half a liter is a huge bottle.

On tap at Damian. Cloudy golden colour with small white head, strong aroma of citruses, some malt, lemon peel. Intensive and colourful taste, citruses, apples, wheat, malt, caramel, rather sweet, long fruity finish. Gets better with every sip. Nice weizenbock.

Buona

500ml bottle from the shop, drunk at home. Pours slightly cloudy with a foamy head that lasted a minute or two, heavy lacing, a fine bead. Mid straw in colour. Strong fruit aromas of banana, tangerine, mango and kumquat with hints of apricot. Intensely syrupy in the mouth, fine carbonation, heavy sweetness, flavours of orange marmalade, candied apricots and overripe banana leading to a surprisingly powerful bitterness, along with some sourness, before a crisp finish. The high alcohol is also strongly evident and a there is a sweet cloying fruity aftertaste. Overall, a rich, complex dessert beer, to be sipped and savoured.

Aroma is hoppy with fresh grass, tropical fruits and ... Cloudy light yellow to light brown color with a big sized frothy good lasting white head. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter and very fruity with passion fruit, orange, caramel and a light melon note. Mouthfeel is soft and creamy, carbonation is soft, body is full. Finishes with caramel and a light bitter note. Fantastic. A very fruity and special Weizenbock. Can't get enoug. 0,5l bottle.
