Cannot say anything other than disapointment. A tartness that is more of a sour than a dopplebock. It has cherry and raspberry notes in the aroma as well as the flavor. Very low carbonation. At 17 dollars for 11.2 oz is insane. A complete disaster. JorisPPattyn (10072) - BELGIUM - OCT 19, 2016
Very thick cream-tan head, slowly dwindling over muddy red-brown beer. Chocolate nose, some vanilla, cloves, and - indeed - an old (red) wine aroma; vinous, but the chocolate and clove are most obvious. Mint, clove, banana. Alcoholic, but much less vinous than the nose suggested. Red fruit (cherry), however is there, as well as wood. Pretty spritzy for an aged beer. Well-bodied, alcoholwarming; long lasting flavours. Bottle. Pours muddy brown with a small brown head. Aromas of cherries, malt, balsamico, vanilla, vinous, oaky. Taste has cherries, malt, balsamico, vinous, oaky. Marduk (8512) - Reval, ESTONIA - AUG 6, 2016
375ml bottle (Zly Casy, Prague). Clear brown color. Small size, white head, stays as a ring. Sour, sweet, raspberry, vinegar, yeasty, caramel, balsamic vinegar in aroma. Sour, red currant, raspberries, balsamic vinegar in taste. Woody and acidic vinegar in aftertaste. I’ve said so many negative things, but this beer is actually quite drinkable. Sharp, but then again mellow. Quite drinkable. Vestergaard (2091) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - JUL 21, 2016
From bottle. Ugly brown murky with a small white head. Aroma has cherries, oak, smooth wheaty, prunes, plums, vanilla, spices. Taste is slightly boozy, light sweet, sour, spicy oaky. Average carbonation and an oily body.

Back-log rating. Bottle. Vineous, port, vanilla, Brett and notes as in a Flemish sour. Murky brown, low head. Aventinus fruitiness and berries on the palate, sour notes, tobacco, vanilla, fino sherry. Sparkly mellow and dry leathery body . Dry sherry finish.
