Bottle (Limited Edition: 2012). Nice dark orange body, thick frothy white head, peachy aroma, quite an interesting flurry of fruity tastes on top of the yeasty wheat flavour, starts with a bitter note and ends on a nice floral finish... quite lovely! Brilliant! poisoneddwarf (2511) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - MAY 3, 2013
UPDATED: MAY 4, 2013 750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy cantaloupe hue with a huge cream-colored head that takes its sweet time receding; leaves some cobwebby lace. Aroma is prominently banana and clove at first before some earth and citrusy notes lend themselves to the mix. Has a velvety mouthfeel and fairly soft carbonation. Overall, this tastes like Old World expertise using some New World ingredients to make a really awesome drink here. I’ve always loved this brewery, and I think it’s really cool that they’re broadening their horizons beyond the purely German. This is a must try for any beer lover, and especially for German wheat beer fans. N3lson1 (1005) - Long Valley, New Jersey, USA - MAY 8, 2013
Very very good looking and tasty beverage. Unable to really describe the aroma or flavor well but delicious none the less! Grzesiek79 (4274) - Radom, POLAND - AUG 3, 2013
Vintage 2012, Wspaniale piwo. Elegancka butelka 0,75 wielka piana i glosny wystrzal kapsla ze nie jedno piwo belgijskie moglo by pozazdroscic takiego nagazowania. osadu cala masa, zwlaszcza spore kawalki drozdzy plywaja wszedzie a kolor nagle sie zmienia, robi sie brudny. smak tresciwy, wytrawny, pszeniczno gozdzikowy. Alkohol skryty i to dokladnie. Piwo o wielkiej klasie. Polecam kazdemu. Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - JAN 28, 2012
Richmond 17th, courtesy of butters. Light gold, nice head. Clove, bubblegum, gentle citrus. Flavor is gentle wheat. light clove, bubblegum, more lemon on the finish. Everything in perfect balance. Fantastic brew. Sweetness is in balance, incredible for such a "light" beer.

Cloudy Orange with a generous white creamy head.
Aroma is brutal. Citrus and herbal of the Nelson Sauvin mixed with the typical weizen notes and some cider/white wine notes.
In mouth you can find the banana yeasty flavour mixed with some alcohol and grapes. The end is little bitter and it takes forever and a day with more malts in the end.
Really good beer from one of my favourites brewerys. stevoj (4953) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Everything about this bottle says "This is exceptional", and it is. Nice tempered weizen aromas with a little essence of wine. Pours medium golden with pillowy head and fine but plentiful carbonation. Taste is weizen plus grapes. These hops really blend well with this style. No alcohol burn at all, but feeling the warmth after just a few sips. This a good Sunday afternoon sipper. RuneStumo (2652) - Haugesund, NORWAY - MAY 17, 2012
17.05.2012. 0,75l Bottle. Vinmonopolet Bergen - Valkendorfsgate. Golden dark yellow colour with white head. Very nice wheaty aroma with smooth soft bitterness, and very nice flavours of wheat. This beer is very well balanced with soft bitterness, its rich and it has got the right strength of alcohol. Aftertaste is also very smooth with soft bitterness and lots of wheaty malt. This is just the kind of beer I love!!! angelkostvo (1227) - CZECH REPUBLIC - DEC 30, 2012
Light orange color, bit cloudy with nice one finger white foamy head. Aroma of fruits, grapes, bananas, citrus, passion fruit. Its amazing how it smells. Taste is sweet and sour a lot like good fruity white wine with bitter end. Lively carbonation, light body and slick carbonation. I could recommend that to any beer geek. dumontn (530) - St. Joseph, Michigan, USA - NOV 24, 2011
Draft pours opaque dingey orange with dense wheat head and great retention. Aroma is intensely banana, it practically screams "BANANAS!!" so if you don’t like bananas, stay far, far away. Taste is intense banana, clove, pepper, subdued yeastiness. Body is medium, super sticky, average carbonation, lush juicy finish. Overall, this is a hefeweizen turned up to 11. Absolutely incredible.
