COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With its light-honey coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine-pored, stable head. It has a fresh, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, harmonious and smoothly rounded. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a spritzig-sour impression.

Quite enjoyable this beer. Huge white head on a slightly hazy straw body, high level of carbonation. Big banana, cloves, some vanilla and a touch of bubblegum, very satisfying and balanced with a slight sour note in the finish.

What nose says? Fine floral notes, some hints of yeast and apricot. Light in mouth. Very easy to drink. You can feel a breath of style and luxury while drinking this quality beer. Like!

BeardedAvenger (1264) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - JAN 5, 2018
Kalea Advent Calendar. Stereotypical sweet banana and clove aroma. A cloudy orange gold, topped by a thick fluffy white head. Light bitter, with a sweet and sour streak. Mashed banana, citrus and cloves. Somewhat low key. Medium bodoed but still feals a tad watery. Slick. Soft carbon. Long astringent finish. OK but these helle hefes always seem a bit underpowered to me.

Hazy blonde colour with medium strong foam. Aromas, sweet of malts, bananas, cloves, hay/straw and dust with yeasty and bready notes. Palate, light body with thin texture leaving dry-ish finish. Taste, sweet of banana peels, vanilla, clove and plain vanilla ice cream. Overall, nice flavourfull brew. Nice!

Pours a cloudy light golden colour with thick white head. Aromas of bananas, cloves and some citrus. Taste follows the nose; zesty and refreshing with a really nice level of carbonation which enhances the refreshment. Smooth, rich and creamy texture. Delivers the banana and clove flavours you would expect from a German Hefeweizen with a nice hint of orange in there too. Finish is sweet and slightly tart. A really good beer from a great brewery.

Pours a fairly hazy light amber with a big white head. Aroma is sweet banana, clove. Taste is apricot, slight sweet spice, bubblegum. Sweetish aftertaste lingers for a bit. Light bodied, medium to high carbonation. Good!

Bottle at home in Beer Hawk advent calendar. No head, but some carbonation from a rather attractive deep golden beer. The nose was all yeast and sourness and the taste delivered this in spades. This wasn't the integrated sour flavour, this was loud shout in your face sour and it didn't do it for me. Not one to revisit.
