Schofferhofer Grapefruit is the unique combination of sparkling smooth Schofferhofer Hefeweizen with grapefruit flavoring. A refreshing well-rounded taste with tangy character and hints of sweetness is pleasing to the palate. Tastes best ice cold and right from the bottle. 50% of Schofferhofer Unfiltered Hefeweizen blended with 50% grapefruit drink.

Kroger bottle. Pink, cloudy, small white head. Aroma is skunked - it is a clear bottle after all, grapefruit candy. Flavor is slightly skunky grapefruit juice and candy, bread, cardboard. It's neither good nor bad, it's just kinda there. I'd never seek it out again, but would I drink it if someone handed me a bottle? Hmmm... that's a good question.

F: medium, off-white, quick gone. C: orange, hazy, opaque. A: grapefruits, bit red fruits, hint of malt and yeast. T: bit malty and wheat, grapefruits, bit red fruits, refreshing radler the colder the better, medium body and carbonation, 0,5l can from REWE Getränkemarkt in Aachen, Germany.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2018 Orange colour. Taste is sour / fruity with savory elements from the beer. Both, beer and juice, combine in a balanced compostion, not too sweet. Tastewise it is located much closer to a modern-days lemonade. Drinkable and refreshing. Not advisable, though, when your craving a beer.

Cloudy orange pour, fast, fizzy head, no lacing. Grapefruit aroma and taste much like the Stiegl, but with a bit of an almost lactic note to this pops up as it warms. Light, fizzy, spritzy body. I'll reach for the Stiegl 10 times out of 10 over this one.

11.2 oz. bottle poured to a tall & thin weizen glass at the Schnitzel Platz in Glendale Heights, IL. showing a cloudy, orangey color, with slightly orange tinged, soft white fluff, and non-lasting dots & dashes of lacing. The nose was ruby grapefruit, sweetness, subtle tangerine rind, maybe a little spice, but no typical hefe notes. Light to medium bodied, with lively carbonation, the taste was similar, sweet, tart & tangy, with some added orange bitters to the flavor. Nice after dinner refreshment.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2018 500ml can at home. Pours hazy golden orange with a fizzy white head. Decent grapefruit aroma, sweet. Taste is light malty, moderate to heavy sweet, tart pink grapefruit, citric, underlying wheat notes. Light bodied, fizzy carb. Sweet fruity finish. Goes down very easily

Cloudy peach to amber pour with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet grapefruit candy and muted bready and soft wheat notes. Flavor is sweet grapefruit, a little cereal and biscuit, floury wheat. Medium body, syrupy, slightly chalky feel, light, but blanketing and spritzy carbonation. More like a grapefruit pop than beer, there are some beery notes, but they are hidden pretty well. Still, not terrible, I could see it being pretty enjoyable on a muggy summer day.

500ml can in the Citizen. Hazy amber with a thin but foamy head. Looks a lot like a NE IPA. Strong grapefruit aroma and flavour, tart, almost sour. Would be good on a hot summer day

Das Schöfferhofer Grapefruit aus Frankfurt am Main, Hessen. Etikett geht schon. Braucht kein Mensch.
