COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schöfferhofer German Wheat Beer Hefeweizen is brewed in Bavarian tradition using wheat malt. The live yeast gives bottle "conditioning" guaranteeing a refreshing fruity flavor. The yeast sediment also leads to the "cloudy" nature of the beer. Care needs to be taken when pouring. Tilt glass and pour slowly. Before pouring last quarter, roll bottle gently back and forward until sediment is dissolved.

Flasche, orange, trüb. Kein starkes Aroma, wenig Geschmack für ein Hefeweizen. Banane, Hefe, Weizen, eher dünn, viel Kohlensäure

500 ml bottled. Hazy yellow colour, large foamy white head, average retention and fine lacing. Typical wheat nose with crushed wheat, bread, cloves. Taste is decently yeasty, bread, a bit peach and apple flavour. Medium body and carbonation, thick texture, spicy finish.

Bottle at a tasting. Average mediocre mass market weizen. Not much in ways of clove and banana. Rather sweetish maltiness. Drinkable, but nothing great.

Beaucoup de blé et des levures qui offrent le minimum. Un feeling assez industriel pour moi. Rien à rajouter que très bon avec une pizza surgelée Oetker.

Bottle at my in-laws, 02/07/16. Citrus aroma. Hazy amber. Off-white head - initially looked healthy but snuffes it pretty quickly. Sharp with banana/citrus taste, but not particuarly strong. Light in body two. Average.

Hazy orange, medium head. Aroma od typical for a hefeweizen: cloves and banana but not very strong. Taste is dry, a bit sour and grainy with appropriate bitterness. Very refreshing and drinkable.

Rated on 6-25-2016 at bottle store event. The appearance of this canned beer is a small off-white head, cloudy orange body and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is fruity, sweet, grapefruit, wheat, and malt. The flavor is grapefruit, sweet, wheat and some malt. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is light bodied. This is one of my favorite beer styles, but the flavor leaves a lot to be desired for the style. It did not suit my liking or my palate. A very disappointing beer.

Pours a hazy golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of orange and cloves. Taste similar, initially slightly bitter, very peppery, finishes smooth with citrus notes. Medium body and carbonation.

500 ml bottle. Hazy pale yellow colour. Medium white head. Slightly metallic, sweet, caramelly, flowery aroma. Flowery, slightly yeasty beginning. Slight metallic bitterness in the middle. Flowery, slightly bitter finish. Rather light bodied, rather low carbonated wheat beer. Drinkable
