COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schöfferhofer German Wheat Beer Hefeweizen is brewed in Bavarian tradition using wheat malt. The live yeast gives bottle "conditioning" guaranteeing a refreshing fruity flavor. The yeast sediment also leads to the "cloudy" nature of the beer. Care needs to be taken when pouring. Tilt glass and pour slowly. Before pouring last quarter, roll bottle gently back and forward until sediment is dissolved.

Aroma of dried fruits and faint herbs. Taste is banana and clove with some fruitiness. Very nice and pleasant mouth feel. A fine beer!

Cloudy orange to yellow color. Yeasty and malty aroma. Some banana, light bread, biscuits. Starts quite sweet and malty. The yeast character is not as intense as many of the style. Has some spicy clove notes, a bit of banana, biscuits. Very effervescent and bright with a bit of acidity. Sadly, this dies quickly on the palate, finishing like water, making a good outdoor beer on a hot day. Overall, it is an above average hefeweissen, but lack the depth and complexity of some of the best ones.

0.5 l bottle at ’Crocodile’. Hazy, golden yellow with a large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity aroma of banana, cloves and some vanilla. Sweetish, rather yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of lots of clove, banana and some vanilla, followed by a short, slightly bitter, rather yeasty-spicy and minimally sourish finish. Medium body, smooth and quite creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice!

Bottle, 500ml. A cloudy light yellow beer with a big white head. Aroma is of wheat and canned corn. Taste is moderately bitter with a wheat character. Medium bodied, smooth and with flat carbonation. Cereal and wheat finish. Well crafted.

Bottle, 500ml. Had this a bunch of times but never rated it. Cloudy pale golden with a large foamy offwhite head. Spicy aromas of wheat, yeast, bubblegum. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Medium sweet, medium bitter. Rustic grainy flavors into a rich herbal finish. Very drinkable and pleasant.

Kupione w Niemczech. Wygląd bez rewelacji. Kolor pomarańczowy z obfitą pianą. Aromat lekko bananowy. Przyjemne w smaku, orzeźwiające. Goryczka lekka.
