COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schöfferhofer German Wheat Beer Hefeweizen is brewed in Bavarian tradition using wheat malt. The live yeast gives bottle "conditioning" guaranteeing a refreshing fruity flavor. The yeast sediment also leads to the "cloudy" nature of the beer. Care needs to be taken when pouring. Tilt glass and pour slowly. Before pouring last quarter, roll bottle gently back and forward until sediment is dissolved.

Bottle. This beer has all the standard wheat beer traits - hazy yellow, white head, banana aroma, wheat flavour. A solid and tasty beer.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow with white head. Banana and bubblegum vibe. A textbook hefe. One of my favourites.

ClubGonzo (5670) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 10, 2011
Bottle from Galeria Kaufhof, Alexanderplatz, Berlin. Pours a deep golden hazy body with a big, creamy white head. Nose is clove, banana, wheat and...more of those things. Pretty classic. Taste is wheaty, dense cereal tones up front, then loads of clove and banana comes in, filling the mouth with lovely hefe flavors. A very good representative of the classic German Hefweizen.

Bottle, pours hazy golden with white head. Aroma is fruits, banana, citrus. Taste is as aroma but with some hops. Ok beer

gramity (1673) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 1, 2011
Spicey fruity with nice wheaty aromas. Cloudy yellow with a fantastic head. Some fruity flavours that were almost pear like though clove and a little banana show through. Some hops in the flavour. A little on the thin side (even with the yeast) but a really good drop out of the bottle. Great carbonation not too high.

5.0% cloudy gold with a good head, usual wheat beer aroma and taste although slightly more bitter than the average cloudy wheat beer but good.

Lagerboy (2221) - British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 10, 2011
Hazy honey gold, white fading head. Yeasty, citrus nose, yeasty wheaty malt taste. Citrusy with some banana and some background hop. Light bodied, high drinkability. Clean sour finish. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

Draft @ epcot. Bananas and citrus on the nose. Pours slightly hazy orange with a dense white head. Light citrusy flavor upfront with some breast wheat notes. Not bad a little light.
