COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schöfferhofer German Wheat Beer Hefeweizen is brewed in Bavarian tradition using wheat malt. The live yeast gives bottle "conditioning" guaranteeing a refreshing fruity flavor. The yeast sediment also leads to the "cloudy" nature of the beer. Care needs to be taken when pouring. Tilt glass and pour slowly. Before pouring last quarter, roll bottle gently back and forward until sediment is dissolved.

Poured a hazy amber/orange with a huge white head. Aroma of sweet malt. Medium body, flavour of slightly spiced wheat and a moderately dry aftertaste.

Kupljeno u plodinama u Sibeniku...

500ml can from the shop, drunk at home. Pours thickly cloudy with a long-lasting foamy head, heavy lacing and no visible bead. Murky greyish yellow in colour, typical of the style. Aroma of cracked wheat, banana and yeast. Creamy in the mouth releasing flavours of cereal, banana and fresh bread, medium carbonation that continues to the back of the palate, some sweetness and a gentle refreshing bitter finish. Always mouth-filling and never watery. Overall, a solid example of a hefeweizen that is very worthy of the name.

Draught at Brauhaus zum Weißen Bären, Dusseldorf. Cloudy orange with white head. The aroma has notes of yeasts, wheat, clove, pickles and bread. Sweetish and sourish flavor with notes of yeasts, wheat, clove, some banana, hint of sausage and black pepper. Lively carbonation, full-bodied.

500mml bottle. Tasted several times. Hazy orange colour with a medium and foamy white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, yeast and malts. Taste is almost the same with a strong presence of wheat and a smooth medium banana finish. Next one please!

Buğday birası. Aroması fazla ama rahatsız etmiyor. Kokusu serin tadı orta dolgunlukta.

Bottle. Orange with the expected huge head. Aroma of bananas and clove. Taste is bananas, bubblegum, clove and a hint of citrus fruits. Feels like a Beginner's Weizen to me. Needs more punch. Watery and light. Strong carbonation. With so many brilliant and easily accessible Hefeweizens out there I just don't see the appeal of this one
