Schöfferhofer German Wheat Beer Hefeweizen is brewed in Bavarian tradition using wheat malt. The live yeast gives bottle "conditioning" guaranteeing a refreshing fruity flavor. The yeast sediment also leads to the "cloudy" nature of the beer. Care needs to be taken when pouring. Tilt glass and pour slowly. Before pouring last quarter, roll bottle gently back and forward until sediment is dissolved.

12 oz bottle. Pours pale orange cloudy with a thick white head. Aroma is slightly tart citric and banana, a touch funky. Flavor starts sweet, bready with some soft citrus notes but quickly fades to a grainy sweet character. Medium body and sharp carbonation. Weird beer.

Bottle from German beer market. Classic wheat beer smell, slight basement bar smell (not floor but silghtly smokey air). Quite light, nothing remarkbale. Played with a bti due to bad glass & sediment too, need to try again.

Can, pretty fresh: bottled on 7th July [email protected]: pours orange like hazy golden with lasting foamy white head. Aroma-flavor: banana like esters, hint of clove like phenols, some wheat and yeasts. Medium bodied, soft texture, moderate carbonation.

Murky orange color with big thick white head. Clove and banana aroma. Quite light, lacks some stronger aroma.

From Carrefour. In Bavaria hefe glass. Playing Escape the Past. Fairly standard hefeweizen. All you can expect in the style without anything standing out specially for the good or the bad

Aromat goździkowo-gruszkowy, bananowy, w tle nuty pszeniczne. Smak pszeniczno-bananowy z posmakiem goździkowo-gruszkowym, lekko kwaskowaty. Na finiszu słodowość oraz minimalna goryczka. Pisząc o aromacie i smaku gruszkowym, mam na myśli zapach i smak gruszek w zalewie z goździkami. Warka 22.06.2017

Looks golden and juicy. Nice, clean wheat and banana profile. Some white bread and sime cloves. Taste is nice and crisp, quench thirsting, but could use a bit more complexity. Wheat, yeast, bananas and pears. Good overall.

Ocena w ramach uzupełnienia profilu. Barwa mętna, piana solidna, długo się utrzymuje, wysokie nasycenie. W aromacie wyczuwalne goździki i banany. W smaku lekko słodkie, bananowe.

Aelfraed (19) - Warsaw, POLAND - AUG 19, 2017
Ładna piana, barwa mętna słomkowa. Aromat dość słabo intensywny, lekko wyczuwalne nuty pszenicy. W smaku pszenica, banan i dość nieprzyjemna cierpkość. Wyczuwalne drożdże Dość wodniste.
