Golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. Looks nice and inviting. Mild sweet wheat and some banana notes in the aroma. Ok intensity. Medium body. Balanced sweetness. Average carbonation level. Banana, fruity, malty and wheat flavor. Nice refreshing ale.

einherjar (501) - Rijeka, CROATIA - NOV 20, 2017
Pale golden color, medium white head. Aroma wheat. Taste wheat, banana, empty body, lack of finish. I really like Schöfferhofer hefeweizen, so I'm disappointed with this one.

Piepenhenrich (1290) - Steinbach, GERMANY - NOV 19, 2017
From bottle. Pours clear golden with a thick, lasting bright white head. Aroma is wheats as can be expected. Taste incorporates more bitter notes, compared to the classic Weizen. Taste is somewhat closer to a Pils, than to the common Weizen.

brnandersen (4344) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 17, 2017
50 cl bottle poured in to a Weizen glass. Clear golden colour with a huge white head that slowly fades to a fat cap on top. Sweet aroma with grasses, banana, wheat malts and spicy notes. Pepper. Taste is light bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes drying and fruity with grasses and spices. An okay kristallweizen, drier and more bitter than the regular weizen.

Grumbo (4293) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - MAY 31, 2017
Bottle at Main Strand by Frankfurt Brooklyn Bridge. Pours bright golden amber with a medium sized white head. Aroma of wheat, corn, citrus, hop, grass and vaguely reminiscent of hubba bubba. Medium plus sweetness, with moderate but slightly tart bitterness. Light to medium body, slightly watery texture, with above average carbonation at least initially. Finish is semi-sweet and lemony.
