COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

33cl MHD08/2017 from Bierothek Stuttgart, at €2,50 the least pricy local option, accepting that Böblingen comes closest to 0711s craft brewery location when CAST is sold out... - Mild, precise, clean entry level amber ale with APA leanings, offering a bit of what is suggested on the label (strawberry, toffee) diluted to the point of inoffensiveness: needs more malt character to really shine as an amber ale, or more hop character to prove its point as a US-Amber. Drinkable, but not still worth its neue Wertigkeit ransom or put-upon fanciness in the dull Bierlandeshauptstadt.

Bottle shared. The beer is a clear amber with a white head of foam. The aroma has caramel and dry herbs. Sweet and moderately bitter in the finish. Medium body and medium carbonation.

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2016 Flasche bei nimmersatt in Tübingen. Geruch: Buttermilch, Pfirsich. Geschmack: bitter, orange, clementine. Wenig Kohlensäure. Insgesamt gutes Bier das aber wünsche offen lässt.

Bottle. The beer has got a hazy amber colour with a steady head and medium body. Aroma of malt and hops. Taste of malt, hops, vanilla, caramel and flowers. Mild malty-hoppy finish.

Lahev(Diky, pane profesoře!):Amber with an orangey sheen, hazy, some floaties visible, quickly collapsing loose white head; sweetish grainy-toasty nose with a well detectable, certain fruitiness; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, pretty light bodied for a beer of 6.0%; gets slightly drier and more bitter towards the fruity and malty finish. Quite O.K., unfortunately not my style…

Malt and slight stinky aroma. Pretty neutral overall. Taste is balanced and full flavored for an amber.

Koelschtrinker (21706) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - OCT 23, 2015
Wenig süßer, trocken herber Antrunk. Kaum hefig und ebenso geringfügig hopfig. Die Würzigkeit steigt etwas, mild hefig. Das Potenzial ist hier definitiv nicht ausgeschöpft. 10/8/8/9/8/9

0,33l Flasche. Orange trübe Farbe. Sehr viel cremiger leicht dunkler Schaum. Sehr frisches fruchtiges Aroma. Erdbeeren und Citrus. Antrunk sehr fruchtig. Dann Malz und Gerste. Im Abgang kommt die Erbeere und Bitternoten. Extrem frisch für ein Amber Ale, klasse!

Many thanks to kevnic2008. The beer is smooth caramel, fresh, a bit sweetish-round. Very nice caramelly body, hints of malty grain. Fresh, smooth, nice malty caramel with a moderate bitter aftertaste. Nice.
