MikeBeermaster (882) - that shaggy maggot, POLAND - JUN 15, 2017
Faint aroma of maltiness with bit of caramelized sugar sweetness. Clear amber in the glass with minimal head. Taste is semi dry with pleasant notes of maltiness, some caramel, bready back and hoppy touch. Good enough.

Idiosynkrasie (7533) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - DEC 30, 2016
500ml bottle. Crystal clear, orangey golden colour with averge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally strawy and grainy, mellow malty aroma, a touch of honey and pear, grassy and minimally waxy hoppy overtones. Taste is minimally sweet malty, diluted hints of caramel, a touch of honey, cereals, some hop bitterness; smooth, silky and soft palate, gentle carbonation. Very clean - laconic.

pivnizub (10619) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - APR 1, 2016
Bottle(@Metro Bürgerbräukeller): Deep golden, white and stable head; sweet pale-malty to bready-bisquity nose, low hoppiness, some fruity spots; moderate sweet flavour, low bitterness, medium bodied; slightly lingering sweet malty finish. Not bad, but this "diluted Heller Bock" lacks the balancing hops…

Beerhunter111 (20482) - P´Castle, GERMANY - MAR 3, 2016
50cl bottle. Pours clear dark golden colour with a mid-sized good lasting white head. Aroma of pale and slightly strong malt, mild hops. Taste of mild sweet malt, grains, mild hops, nothing special.

jann3 (385) - Espoo, FINLAND - JAN 5, 2016
Pours clear golden with an off-white head. Malty aroma with notes of honey and caramel. Taste is mild, sweetish and malty. Finishes with some dryish herbal notes. A very typical but tasty and drinkable example of Märzen. (0,5l bottle, bb19.07.16)

MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - DEC 7, 2015
(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a firm and slightly off-white mid-sized foamy head. Slightly bready malty aroma with notes of biscuits, honey, caramel and a subtle fruity touch. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Soft and mildly bready malt character with hints of honey and a whiff of caramel, backed by shades of herbal hops; moderately sweet malty and mildly bitter hoppy finish with notes of bread and a tinge of caramel in the aftertaste. 07.XII.15

gripweed57 (2463) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - NOV 6, 2015
500 ml bottle. Deep honey gold color. Moderate foamy beige head. Nice clinging lace. Faint malty nose has vegetal notes. Upfront, sweet bready maltiness with light caramel notes. Mild and smooth middle, with a hint of toasted white bread. Spicy floral hops in finish.

Orange Braun im Glas, leicht malzig in der Nase, frisch im Antrunk, schön rundes Aroma

ciocanelu (2534) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - OCT 17, 2014
Nice caramel aroma and balanced taste. Some nice honey sweetness. Doesn’t really taste like a typical Marzen but that’s not a bad think because this one is definitely better.

ElDesmadre (3627) - Mikołów, POLAND - JUN 4, 2014
Draught in Browariat. Malty aroma with a tiny whiff of hops and apples. Sweetish, almost without bitterness but soft and smooth, without those alcohol notes that so often make marzen beers undrinkable. I’m not particularly fond of this style but this one stands out among its counterparts.
