Many thanks for this bottle to kevnic2008. Kolor piwa rubinowo czerwony, srednia piana ale dosc trwala. W smaku slodowo palone ale niezbyt slodko, goryczkowo nieco i wytrawnie nawet. Wanillia w tle oraz owoce sezonowe. Pachnie nieco to piwo marmolada lub powidlami sliwkowymi.

Schönramer Altbayrisch Dunkel has an extremely thick, cream-colored, crackling head, a clear, copper color, and very heavy lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, syrupy, brown bread, and the flavor is the same, with appropriate, balancing bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and chewy, and this one finishes crisp and refreshing. RJT

Absolutely superb dunkel. Really like this one. Beautiful malt flavor. Highly recommended.

Pours a clear brown with bright orange highlights and a tan cap. The smell is molasses, licorice, roasted malt. The taste is herbal, roasted malt, licorice, molasses, brown sugar with a dry ending that counterbalances the dark malt sweetness. The body is light/medium with average carbonation. Wow, A very flavorful dunkel!!

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Deep ruby red colour mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is ripe fruits, some toasted wood, mild toffee, sweet cream as well as some mild syrupy notes. Flavour is quite similar. Very old school dunkel, which is a rather nice one.

Moravius (1289) - Pyongyang, NORTH KOREA - OCT 31, 2014
Flasche (50 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Tiefes Kastanienbraun, klar; grobporiger Schaum. Hier fehlt eindeutig Hopfen.

Alengrin (5334) - BELGIUM - SEP 3, 2014
Very typical Münchener Dunkel with yellowish white, sticky, moussy head and deep amber colour. Malty aroma, caramelly, somewhat smoked and leathery. Smooth caramel malt taste with some roasted bitterness in the finish.

Pours hazy brown with low off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malts, rye bread, light smoke. Taste is sweet, rye and malt, slightly citrusy, peppery, lingering light bitter and funk finish. Light to medium, smooth body with soft carbonation.

Bottle at Luksus with main course of lamb. pours ruby brown with a nose of bready malt and molasses. tastes of roasted malt, burnt sugar, dark fruits, little bit of mineral, and toast. light spice on finish and a smooth drinkable palate.

dnicolaescu (2561) - Chișinău, MOLDOVA - JUN 16, 2014
BOTTLE 50 CL Look: clear dark ruby-brown, light beige frothy head. Aroma: burn sugar sweetness, some dark fruit, dark malts/dark bread crust and also something strange like fatty roasted meat, which goes away after a while. Taste: burn sugar sweetness with floral hop notes coming through, light ashy finish and light but spicy hop bitterness. Decent.
