Draft at Rattle n Hum. Pours amber with an off white head. Clean bready malts, lighter sweetness, toast, and some flowery noble hop bitterness in the finish. Balanced throughout; very clean and very drinkable. Spot on. kappldav123 (6100) - GERMANY - MAR 28, 2014
Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass brownish, nice head. Starts fine malty, not too intense, roasty-easthy, some caramel hints. Mild dry, not too much. Bitter background. Finish soft-malty with caramel hints. Really nice! deusax (459) - Grenoble, FRANCE - MAR 7, 2014

Bottle from Ledgers. It pours a rather clear brown color with a small khaki head. The aroma is really nice and dry with baked bread, toast, light hints of cocoa and a berry like hop character, but mostly dry, toasty malts. The flavor is similarly dry with toast, dry cocoa powder hints of nutmeg and almost an oaky quality to the mouthfeel. Very tasty. It almost reminds me of a really good brown ale. I enjoyed this beer thoroughly.

50cl bottle pours with a clear amber brown head supporting a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up some roasted malts, nuttiness and a mild mineral water sort of smell. The taste starts with a mix of malts sweetened roasted malts, a dash of chocolate malts and a sort of spicy molasses like sensation. Toward midway a mix of nuttiness and cherry to prune sweet dark fruity esters come to the surface and take it into the finish.
