Cracking straw and delicate spicy hops whip up a smashing dry, bitter, effervescent Pilsener.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A sticky head of foam garnishes the clear pale golden.
-The flavor profile and mouthfeel are as polished as all other Schönram brews I’ve had at this point.
-Malts offer some bread connotations as well in their light sugary flavors.
-This may not be the most distinctive example, but it is impeccable and completely enjoyable.
-The spicy hop finish lingers nicely without overdoing it. Makes the brew even more süffig!
-This must be absolutely amazing fresh on tap at the brewery.
My 1000th rating. Cheers. Celebration... and other congratulations. The beer: veryl flowery, maybe levendula, lágy test, tisztaság, könnyed száraz pilsz. Imádom. Sampled at Flugwerk in Feldkirchen. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 9, 2015
Super fresh 6-pack bought at the brewery and drank over the next three nights. Crystal clear pale gold. Herbal, spicy, noble nose with a tight crispiness that feels mineral and just a touch tart. Expertly extracted bready malts, crackery, fresh as a loaf of bread out of the oven, the bubbles crack over the palate like the crust on that loaf. The first few sips are satisfying, but when you’re craving for more after a 2nd bottle, you know you have encountered a champion. Beautiful quaffable pils. UPDATED: AUG 18, 2016 Re-scoring after repeat drinkings and growing infatuation. This beer is now a good friend of mine. Old rate June 2015: On draft at the Monterey Bar in Berlin a few nights ago. There were a bunch of American IPAs on (and the like), but this was the only thing that could scratch my itch. Having tasted it a few times I think it may be just as good as the more ballyhooed Grünhopfen. There is plenty of zesty-herbal hop flavor here, to go with a nicely bitter bite, lovely gold color with resilient foam, and fine grainy character. drmet (965) - Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, GERMANY - JUN 20, 2015

Great German Pils

Bottle discovered in the Class VI at Nellis AFB. Guarded by a standing bright whie head of foam, this is light golden brew. With a starchy nose it drinks in the mainstream of German pilsners ... malty and biscuit-based with a nice big and sturdy kiss of Teutonic hop bitterness to finish it off. Quite good!
A selection from this month’s shipment of the Malt of the Earth club. I will start by saying i am not into Pilsners. With that said, this is one of the best pilsners i have had, period. Very nice citrus hoppy aroma and taste. Smooth and well balanced. This is a very good Pilsner. Would be a great intoduction and transition brew for your friends into typical macro swill.
