COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A "heavy" light, as with 3.4% alcohol more than most of his kind. A tasty alternative to all beer mix drinks (among brewers as "Bierpanschereien known). Special malts round out the flavor. The malty flavor is reminiscent of a freshly mown lawn. In Antrunk taste it easy Malzsüße, which turns into a pleasant lasting hoppy bitterness. In Nachtrunk very lively. This is a light beer Surtaler with a surprising amount of backbone, which is due to the relatively high original gravity and the use of 15% special malts.

bartlebier (4118) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAR 10, 2015
Bottle [email protected] Live ’15 - SO. An expected flimsy, but clear and appealing golden grain pour with white whisps opens up into: ar) refreshing sour speciality graininess, malts with a husky edge. t) finely tuned sawdust grains retaining their near-bready character, whilst a defined space is left open for hayish, slightly peppery hops to enter. Expert composition, this both grainy and refreshing light beer that held its own in between two ImpStouts.

At Flugwerk Feldkirchen. Golden, white head. Light grainy malt, light fruit, very nice broad hop profile- covering the light malt with a light blanket of aromatic, grassy and citric notes. Medium light body, feels chewy. Fresh, moreish, brilliant sessionable

Tap. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is grassy and earthy old world hopspice, crackery malts. Taste is earthy hopspice, biscuity malts, quite balanced despite the lack of malt body and the definitely noticeable hopspice. *Great* Schankbier!

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2014 Bottle @ Denmark/Norway Tasting @ Ulfborg 2011. Courtesy of Fonefan. Pours clear golden with a small off white head. Grain and corn. A bit skunky with notes of paper. Re-rate : Bottle @ Getränke Winkler, Traunstein. floral hops. Very clean. Deliciously crisp. How much a fresh bottle can do. 2,1-3,4.

Quack-Duck (9490) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 30, 2012
bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear pale yellow, mid-sized white head. Malty base, quite light-bodied, resiny-grassy hops tune in very soon. Quite full of character for the low abv, very nice.

Velmi lahké pivko, na osvieženie... stupnovitosť malá, obsah alkoholu tak isto, výrazná pivová chuť

Koelschtrinker (21371) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - APR 23, 2012
Leicht herber Beginn, süffig, es ist keine Form des Alkoholentzugs erkennbar. Spritzig, herb, zum Ende hin wenig bitter. Rund, für ein Leichtbier super! 9/10/12/9/9/9

Recht kräftiger, hopfenwürziger Geruch. Antrunk hopfig. Würzig-aromatische Mitte. Erstaunlich bitterer Ausklang. Wirklich gutes Bier.

500mL bottle purchased at the Davis Food Co-Op. Label is almost identical, except for the "Light Beer" replacing "Leichter Typ". I am not sure if this would qualify for a Low Alcohol or not. Best by 11/11.10. Aroma is crisp, grassy, corny, and very pale lager/pilsener like. Light floral aromatics along with some cereal, too. Transparent, sparkling yellow body with a smallish white head present. Starts a little metallic, before this becomes quite sweet with corn meal and more cereal in the middle. Very lightly tart with some lemon touches. Finishes light and floral and a bit watery. This is pretty refreshing, and not terrible. Just too expensive at $4 to be a viable lawn mower beer.

pivnizub (10768) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - SEP 12, 2011
Bottle: Pale greenish-golden, big stable beaten-egg-white like foam; aromatic hoppy nose, straw and pale malt underneath; light sweet-bitter flavour, light - as expected - bodied; hoppy-stawy finish. Good light beer....
