The 3-Grid IPA is our flagship ale. This India Pale Ales citrus notes are created by Chinook, Cascade, Columbus and Amarillo hops from Yakima Valley, making it a true Northwest-style crowd pleaser. The alchemists at Schooner EXACT balance the hoppiness with a hint of malt, making this IPA one that pleases the staunchest of hopheads as well as the microbrew newbie.

Can from LifeSource. Hazy medium amber/orange in color. Nice hop nose with a little sweetness. Fairly dry and hopped up front. A little fruitiness follows. Muted grapefruit peel notes in the finish. Pretty Tasty IPA. A little one the dry grapefruit peel side, but not bad.

12 oz can from Lifesource Natural Grocers in Salem OR Clear burnt orange body, huge pillowy , frothy off white head. Nice fresh grapefruit and orange hop aromas, some slight caramel malts. Taste much the same as the aroma..but more malty. Nice mouth feel but a little sticky near the end. An OK average PNW IPA

On tap @ Schooner. Pours bright golden copper with thin lacy white head. Aroma is lightly sweet caramel malt and fresh piney vegetal hops. Taste is chewy medium caramel malt and big bitter hops - juicy pine and dark citrus notes jump out. Nothing fancy, just a solid delicious IPA. An easy pick when I see it on tap in Seattle, which is saying something given the quality of IPAs in this town. Right there with Lucille, Interurban, and Trickster for best local iteration.

Draft pour at gleneagle. Cant believe i havent rated this yet. Definitly a go to IPA for me. Pours a bubbly golden with a foamy ocean head. Subtle hops and grainy aroma. Flavor is a bit toasty, with a crisp lighter body. Slightly bitter hop finish. Great beer overall. Tasty.

Draught at Two Dogs. Clear amber, decent wite head. Fruity resin aroma. Extremely smooth flavour, sweet malts balanced nicely by the hops. Crazy easy to drink.

On tap @ Century Link Stadium, Seahawks vs Panthers divisional playoff game. Deep copper body, lasting off white head. Juicy citrus and pine hop character, caramel malts, long bitter finish. So cool to find good beer at a game like this!

Classic Seattle IPA. It is especially good from the can. Lots of layered grapefruit, citrus, pine and balanced by a healthy caramel malt. Tasty as hell. I will miss this beer.

Tap at Dig Beer Bar, Beer Cats Osaka Party event. Smooth, hoppy nose. Medium copper/amber color. Fruity initial, with peach and some rich caramel, tangy hopping, and good tracks in final. Well balanced all the way through. Good. A standard IPA.
