Tap at CBM Awajicho. Pours a clear amber with a one-fingered soapy egg-shell head that lasts throughout. Grapefruit pith, orange zest and caramel malt on the nose. Some resin and pine on the palate with more grapefruit. Soft carbonation with a slightly watery mouthfeel. Spiky bitterness on the finish. Hanuta06 (469) - Washington, USA - APR 10, 2015
Serving: from tap at Schooner Exact Brewery.
Aroma: moderate pine hop.
Appearance: average-sized, creamy, off-white initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Cloudy, dark-amber body.
Taste: moderately bitter and grapefruity initial flavor and finish with average duration.
Palate: medium body, lively carbonation.
Overall: very good. beastiefan2k (4033) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - FEB 7, 2015
Flight at brewery. Dim gold color. This is the basic malty and hoppy IPA. Malt toss tines and moderate bitterness at the end. Not fancy here but good. mcberko (18429) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 7, 2015
On tap at Schooner Exact, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is on the gentle side, with floral and citrus hops. Flavour is crisp and hoppy, with piney, floral and citrus hops, and just enough toasted crackery malt to back. Very well-balanced and constructed. Dry finish without any harsh astringency. Good stuff.

Draft - Nice grapefruit with a caramel base. Clear gold with a rich beige head. Pithy resin and a very dry finish with lingering bitterness. luttonm (6555) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 5, 2015
Draft at Brewery. Coppery brown, foamy head. Sweet, peppery ale. Medium, malty body. Pepper and strong carbonation. Solid. Fantabox (18) - USA - MAY 27, 2013
There is something about this that I really enjoy. It is 3-Grid-ish which makes it tasty, but it also has a touch of pine bitterness and low hop aroma. Pours a reddish brown and has a light head, white in color. Low bitterness and full on flavor.

Excellent IPA, and another well crafted beer from Schooner Exact. However, little differentiation between this and 3 Grid. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JUN 26, 2011

Amber/orange in color, clear with a thin head. Nice hops aroma lots of pine. Good malt roast with a balance and a light bitterness in the finish. This is a great IPA.
