COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A tip of the hat to our Evergreen State, this beer is created using Washington grown barley and hops. Brewed in our post-modern NW IPA fashion we use multiple additions of Simcoe and Amarillo hops to achieve a flavor and aroma reminiscent of the Yakima Valley during harvest. Cheers to you and our Evergreen State!

Can from Beer Cats. A golden orange color with a light beige head. A fruity aroma that has a ripe melon, tropical and yet piney hop bouquet. Medium bodied with a dry earthy-minty flavor. A solid brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Medium-strength piney hop nose, with some citrus, all nicely pungent and dank. Hazy light copper color. Moderately rich caramel, with fairly good hopping. Thin-medium body. Nice hop bittterness -- not over the top. Kind of sessionable flavors (if not alc. level). Good.

Can poured into a pilsner glass. Sediment. Floaters! Many sunk to the bottom, these are disgusting, they look just like small worms. I fished a couple of the buggers out with my finger. They’re soft. Cloudy dull golden color, awful appearance, the absolute worst. Smells of trees, not a big surprise, but seems OK. Taste is just OK, about average, better than expected after awful first impressions. Finishes average, decent bitterness. Can’t get past some of my issues with this one though.

Serving: from can purchased at The Beer Junction. Aroma: moderate pine hop. Appearance: small, frothy, off-white, initial head with good lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, dark-yellow body. Taste: lightly bitter, grapefruit initial flavor and finish with average duration. Palate: light-medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: excellent. Pleasant aroma, not too bitter, easy to drink. A great everyday beer.

Pine and evergreen aroma covered up mostly because the undated can was likely old. Seems like I woulda liked it fresher, but didn’t finish.

Sample at GABF 09/26/2015, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Clear pale orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lace. Piney hops, fruit and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, fruit and roast malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Can from BCS. Pours a gold copper with a huge soapy head. Great dank aromas with some pine resin and grapefruit as well. So well-balanced. Starts out sweet and finishes with a nice bitterness. Very smooth and easy to drink.
