Draft at college inn. Hazy yellow pour, very little head and no lacing. Tastes basically like toasted wheat with banana slices sitting in lemon-scented dish water. Harsh, bitter, unpleasant and difficulty to drink. fiulijn (20411) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 6, 2014
Draught at Lockspot Fish & Chips Bar, Seattleandrewje41 (3741) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - APR 8, 2014
Muddy pale blond color. the aroma is pleasant and lemony, but the flavor is a bit more stale and yeasty.
Typical American wheat.
Draft at the brewery. Pours a pale yellow. I really like this. Very refreshi.g on a nice day. Tropical fruit aroma. Very light bodied flavor with a long banana finish. Well done. TimE (5775) - Tokyo, JAPAN - DEC 18, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 3, 2016 Cloudy, pale golden color. Some clove notes, but Ok unbalanced. Came across as a wheat. Very clovey ok. Dogbrick (12912) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a medium fluffy white head that dissipates steadily. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, hops and wheat. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, yeast and banana. The finish is mildly bitter hops up front with a citrus and banana aftertaste. Decent, hoppier Hefe overall.

On draft at the brewery. Hazy maize colour, light fluff of head. Wheat and lemon scent, touched off by banana and spice flavour on the first sip. Hints of citrus. Hearty taste, finishes dry. Lots of carbonation. dwyerpg (6055) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUN 17, 2011
Smells pretty bad. Very strong of lemons and sugar, like lemonade. Wow. This is much better than it smells. Not too wheaty or lemony. Not my style, but not bad. Very cloudy yellow. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 28, 2011
Tap at Beveridge. Cloudy yellow with a white skiff. Dusty lemon scent. Lemon banana flavour and somewhat refreshing. Reminds me though of a jar of lemon spread. TheRealMGD (555) - Lakewood, Washington, USA - JAN 21, 2011
Tap @ Crown Bar. Hazy gold pour with a minimal white head leaving minimal lace. Medium-light body with moderate carbonation. Lemon zest and wheat bread notes. Some subtle spiciness enhances the brew. Nice balance of sweet and sour, as a German or Belgian wheat should be. Sampled in the dead of winter, so possibly not at its peak. Nalu (217) - Washington, USA - OCT 11, 2010
Tap @ Parkway. Opaque gold pour with a scant white head leaving no lace. Light-bodied, crisp and astringent. A bit of smokiness early on, gives way to a spiciness (clove, lemon zest) in the middle and finish. There is some toast in the finish. Vigorously carbonated. Would like to see more body and middle weight. Still, it’s a very sessionable and clean Bavarian with a hint of Belgian ale.
