Bomber pours a dark brown color with a medium tan head that leaves light lacing. Smells of chocolate, pine, nuts and toffee. Tasted of all the same things with a good hop bite. Mouthfeel is thin and oily with light carbonation and a dry finish. Nice and hoppy for a winter seasonal almost black ipa territory. Liking the beer from this newer brewery the know what they’re doing when it comes to hops. VastActiv (7413) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 12, 2013

Bomber poured a clear reddish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of cocoa, carmel, toasted malt, earthiness and hints of citrus and pine. Palate was medsium bodied and smooth. Flavors of cocoa, carmel, earthiness and a hint of pine with a smooth lingering cocoa finish. Dogbrick (13389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a dark reddish-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of sweet malt, caramel and earthy hops. The finish is malty up front with a hoppy aftertaste. Above average overall.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours clear darkly copper/brown with a very slight beige head. Aroma of dark roasty malt with hints of chocolate and something suggesting hop. Near full bodied. Flavor is roasty, a little nutty, has some chocolate, and there’s some bitter which could be hop. The malt flavor is pretty dominant, so it’s hard to pick out a hop type. Still, this stuff isn’t all that sugary, and there’s bitter in the finish. Pretty drinkable stuff. Hanuta06 (469) - Washington, USA - FEB 25, 2013
Serving: from bottle--purchased at Total Wine & More.
Aroma: moderately roasted, caramel malt.
Appearance: small, frothy, light-brown, initial head with fully diminishing longevity and very good lacing. Dark-brown/black, cola-colored body.
Taste: moderately sweet initial taste and lightly bitter finish with nutty, roasted malt aftertaste. Long duration.
Palate: full-bodied with dry texture and lively carbonation.
Overall: very good. The sweet initial flavor offset the lightly bitter finish very well. mar (5434) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 10, 2013
amber pour, cream head. nose is fresh citrusy hops, chewy malts, grass, and fruits. easy on the palate, smooth hop notes, nice malt backbone. jgb9348 (6394) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Rich deep dark brown coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of alcohol, a bit of earthy hops, some deep caramel and toffee with a grassy and herbal kick at the end. Medium-bodied; Assertive hoppy flavour at first with earth and grass very strong, some pungent alcohol, all with a good and defined toasted malt backbone. Aftertaste shows some nice malt, a good dose of hops (but not overpowering) and a pleasant sweetness, very well balanced. Overall, a nice beer, I’m not sure why it’s rating isn’t higher - this is balanced and still showing a hint of complexity - nice. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington on 11-January-2013 for US$5.99 sampled at home in the real Washington on 02-February-2013. braznadian (59) - Washington, USA - JAN 15, 2013
Had at the Schooner Pub and Galley. Clear amber in color with bubbly white head. Very aromatic. Citrus hops and spices too. Tastes much like the nose. Busy flavor. Lots of hops and various spice notes. Body is above average. Too me this is like a winter IPA. Would drink again but may be a tad heavy on the spices.
