COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in a post-modern Northwest IPA fashion, this beer’s lightly-sweet malt base balances the Chinook and Columbus hops and huge late additions of Citra hops for flavor and aroma. Full of flavor, this beer is like drinking straight off the hopvine.

Bottle from BevX360, Bellingham
Hazy light amber color with medium sized head. Fruity aroma, mellow, peachy with a touch of tropical fruit. Off-dry mouthfeel, but smooth; it has a delicate toffee-malt backbone, a bit crackery, the right canvas for a hoppy beer; correct bitterness level, with a reasonable portion of hop fruitiness and some hop resins.
Fresh and drinkable; the beer I like to drink.

On tap at Bailey’s, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of piney hops, and dry biscuity malts. Flavour brings out loads of piney hops and soapy notes. Very soft and hoppy on the palate. Solid stuff.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours light amber with a slight white head. Strong citrus aroma with a hint of caramel. Full bodied or nearly. Flavor is astringent citrus with a decent caramel backdrop. Maybe some resin. There is a mild hop burn that builds. It’s really not far from a DIPA, flavorwise. Very, very nice ale.

Bomber poured a hazy golden amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, pink grapefruit, earthiness, orange zest, tropical fruit and light peach. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit and pine with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

Tap at Bud. Cloudy, deep orange with a low, fine head. Tropical fruit nose, grapefruit, quite malty and biscuity. Rich but not too sweet. Great fruit flavors, big bitterness, full body. Excellent.

Draft at sb. Pours a cloudy dark orange with bright golden bronze edges. Dense creamy tan head that doesnt hang around forever. Loose stringy lace. Enormous sweet orange and orange rind nose, tangerines and grapefruits. Intensely fruity. Hop showcase. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty caramel mid palate with sparkling fruit notes all over. Balanced, harmonious, and distinctly powerful. Beautifully done.

Clear amber color with ivory head. Big skanky cat spray, ganja smoke, skunky hop aromas. medium body, average carbonation. Very nice spicy, herbal, earthy bitter hop flavors with a light fruit sweetness----very good IPA

Bottle:   Orangish straw, fiery, moderate to large foamy white head, nice lacing.   Sweet resiny nose, faint candied citrus peel, a little fruity.   Not as sweet or fruity on the tongue.   Soft pith and peel, a touch of earthen malts.   Has a minor powdery pixie stix like sweetness to it.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Mild bitterness on the finish.   Has a fresh earthy aspect about it, but it also brings in a little bit of soil aspect to it as well.   Not a bright floral/citrusy example, despite the nose leaning that way.   However, tiz decent.

From a sixer in Seattle. Thanks to Julie for surprising me with this! Rich clear orange with significant foamy head. Inviting pine-citrus aroma, rather typical northwest hop profile, but delicious. Clean bitter sip, a little lighter in the body than I was expecting. Balanced sweet character, clean medicinal mint, sharp and clean finish. Pretty darn tasty, a good ’daily’ example of a good PNW IPA but not something I’ll seek out.
