Draught at ACBE. Chocolate malt, rich raisin ,nutty notes, dry finish. Quite a flavorful brown ale, godd stuff from a pretty solid brewery. BelgianBeerGal (4085) - Panama City, Florida, USA - JUL 27, 2016
Draft with Jim and Mikey at O'Beer. A surprisingly nice and flavorful brown. Good roasted malt and nuttiness to the flavor with a light hint of sweetness. Easy drinking.

Dark malt and aroma hops in the nose. Dark brown color, clear and thin head. Great dark malt flavors nice mild hops makes for a good balance. This was a great drinking beer.
Roasty, nutty nose, somewhat sweet, chocolatey and fruity as well with some piney/garlicy hops. Pours dark brown with a thinnish beige head. The flavor is roasty up front, chocolate and fruity sweetness on the mid palate followed by piney bitterness. Nice lingering roasty/hop note. Interesting take on style, hoppy american brown. Enjoyable. robforbes (2246) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - NOV 12, 2012
pours a semi-cloudy copper-brown with a very small tan head that goes away quickly, and little to no lacing.
smell is of molasses, wood, roasted malt, hazelnut, and chocolate.
taste is a little oily, malt, some spice, a little cocoa, hazelnut, some roastiness, and a few hops. ends oily and somewhat spicey.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a medium khaki head that diminishes slowly to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Light-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, roasted nuts and a bit of hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall. andrewje41 (4000) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - OCT 10, 2014
Draft pour at the church key pub. Pours a really dark brown with a nutty malty aroma. Smooth caramel malt flavor all throughout. A standard brown ale for me, I enjoyed it. Ferris (15901) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 7, 2015
Draft - Nice dark toasted malts with caramel and nutty notes. Deep clear brown with a nice rich beige head. Cocoa, toffee and hazelnut with a touch of bitterness. Solid brown. KansaiBeerLvrs (5191) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAR 16, 2015
Popped into Craft Beer Base for my free drink ticket & to enjoy a half pint of Schooner Exact King Street Brown Ale.
It pours a beautiful clear rich reddish brown. The nose is soft cocoa, candied raisins and nutty breadiness. A lively carbonation on a med-thin bodied clears the palate for flavors of nutty goodness with chewey chocolate raisin graham cookie notes.
A satisfying brown which is saying something as the style tends to be overly sweet in my opinion. Headbanger (3999) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - SEP 14, 2016
22oz bottle 9/14/16 (Pear Delicatessen & Shoppe-SEA)-42° in Shaker-Pours brown with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, toffee, and chocolate. Taste of the same with a bit of Belgiany tastes. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and hits the spot since I am not a big Brown fan.
