Rating #1952 2015.09.25 #CraftTakesSeattle Day 2, Beer 52. Dark brown pour with a rich, creamy tan foam that bubbles away slowly. Aroma is roast malts, coffee, lots of clove, nutmeg, molasses. Light bitterness, light cocoa edge. Pretty good porter. stevoj (5963) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 10, 2016
Bottle from Lep Ro Kan market in Moses Lake. Dark brown/black pour, initial giant beige head. Aroma is toast malts and milk chocolate. Taste is sweet and mildly bitter, more chocolate. Body seems a tad watery, but pretty tasty stuff. willisread (3948) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 25, 2016
Bottle shared. Dark chocolate with some light dark fruit, roasted malt and coffee notes. More of the same on the palate. Simple and straightforward porter. Light but in a good way. Oakes (19569) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 18, 2016
Dark brown. Aroma is light chocolate with a touch of coffee. Similar palate, lots of coffee. Dry finish, quite coffeeish. Good porter.

Draught at Hathor. In my series "a porter is a porter", this one qualifies with the typical flavor profile. Nothing too exciting but well executed. mcberko (20289) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 7, 2015
On tap at Schooner Exact, pours a dark mahogany / brown with a small tan head. Aroma reveals notes of chocolate and toasted nuts. Flavour is dry and fruity, with red fruits and light cocoa. Leaves a little something to be desired - a little too much fruitiness for a porter for me. Still, decent. Ferris (17800) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 7, 2015
Draft - Dark roasty notes with a hint of burnt toast. Deep jet brown with a rich light brown head. Roasty malts, Berry notes and a light burnt taste. Decent. runaway (106) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 1, 2015
22oz bottle pours dark brown, almost black, with a quickly thinning but long lasting cream head that looks like a nitro. Aroma is of biscuit, toasty malt, chocolate. Flavor is similar but also bitter, watery coffee. Mouthfeel is thin and light, active, watery. Overall somewhat underwhelming... it was great until I actually put it in my mouth.
