On draft at the Schooners brewpub. Pours a very dark clear brownish-red hue with a nice off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, molasses and bread. Flavor of molasses, dark fruit, roasted malt and bitter finish. Pretty smooth and good for Irish red.

On draft at the brewpub. It pours a very dark clear red color with a nice khaki head. The aroma is robust with lots of toast, light notes of dark fruit and molasses. The flavor is the same with a bit more herbal bitterness. Pretty nice for the style. marcus (10479) - Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 30, 2010
