UPDATED: MAY 29, 2016 Tap. Pours dark amber-brown with a full creamy tan head. Very fruity nose, berries and ripe apples, spices and wood. It has quite a christmassy touch. Medium bitter dry taste with a slight sourness. No noticeable sweetness. Medium bodied and medium carbonated, sparkling and foamy. Flavor is less intense than the aroma, light caramel and fruity notes, as well as spices and wood. It is growing while drinking and has some complexity, however not to distinguished, which makes it difficult to point at a specific flavor. It is all somewhat mixed. Aftertaste is light and bitter.

Reddish-brown, bubbly head. There’s a toasty, deeply toffeeish malt aroma that’s quite appetizing. Sweet body with a toasted bitterness. Clean malts have a nice sugary length to them. Finish is quite balanced, both is full and just a slight bit of toffee stickiness.

ruigo (3000) - PORTUGAL - OCT 29, 2015
50cl bottle. Hazy reddish brown colour with a thin off-white head. Malt, caramel and toffee in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is medium sweet with some light bitter notes. Overall, nice beer but not remarkable.

Smooth taste, bitterness come first then bock fruity taste. Don’t taste too fruity like most bock beers. Beautiful, my favorite beer

Cerveja acastanhada com nuances de rubi. Boa espuma. Aroma muito evidente de caramelo, biscoito, tosta. Retrogosto doce. Cerveja bem boa. A Shornstein é uma Eisenbahn com muito mais qualidade. Cervejas bem fiéis ao estilo com ótima qualidade, sem invenções.

2.6
