Brewpub: Pours a cloudy pale. Aroma is yeasty with witbier-like smells. Taste is somewhat sweet, a bit spicy, and has a dry finish. This is an OK Belgian Ale, but it really wasn’t that great, albeit a little bit different. larsga (7656) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 15, 2012
Medium white head. Hazy pale yellow body. Mealy orangey aroma with spicy dusty notes. Dry-sweet floral fruity banana aroma with spicy herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy honey banana aftertaste with spicy dusty notes. Nice, drinkable, harmonic. Do I taste the usual Schous paper taste? I guess I do, but in this beer it doesn’t really get in the way. On tap at Schouskjelleren. Pale golden with a small white head. Fruity aroma with Belgian yeast, malt, alcohol and a hint of citrus. Yeasty and fruity with some sourness and bitterness. Somewhat refreshing, but the alcohol is a bit too dominating for me. Still a decent Belgian ale. OleR (4849) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 3, 2012
From tap @Schouskjelleren, Oslo. Hazy deep yellow. Low blond foamy head. Superfresh belgo-yeasty aroma. Flowers, perfume and tangerines. Gently sweet and refined fruit flavor, featuring ripe yellow fruits, mild spices and clean pale malts. Soft mouthfeel. Healthy body. Fine fresh fruit finish. A really nice Belgian blonde. On tap at the brewpub.
PAle hazy yellow, creamy head.
Very tempting Belgian aroma.
Rich flavour, spicy, peaches and cream, quite sweet, but with fine balance.
