200ml, tap, presented at a fine drinking temperature at the brewpub. Creamy, one-finger, tan-coloured head blanketing the glass. Fruity to the nose with slightly roasted malts beneath. Taste of brittle caramel and a good bite of dark fruits. Herbal dry endnotes. Nice and quite well bodied (Oslo, 16.03.2012). ClubGonzo (5683) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 16, 2012
Sampler glass @ the brewpub. Deep near-black ruby body with a big creamy off-white head. Nose is tar, leather, hints of grains and smoke. Taste is leather, grains, bubble gum, dry hop tones and hints of chocolate. Full body and a rather nice blend, but what’s with the Berliner Weisse entry? Sampler @Schouskjelleren. A dark brown beer with limited clarity, topped by a finger of dense cream-colored head. Wheaty cocoa-scented malt aroma. Faint lactic acids with spicy-fruity tones. Dry cocoa/chocolate flavor. Light acidic and zesty fruitiness underneath. Chalky mouthfeel. Less than medium full. Mild resinous bitterness in the finish. A strange and tasty brew with good drinkability. Entered as a Berliner Weisse. Nah... esp0r (2934) - NORWAY - FEB 11, 2012

Dark with a tanned head. Smells of wheat, roasted malts and yeast esters. Fruity taste, nice malts and good sweetness. Also some delicate acids on the side. Very balanced and nice. FInished off with some nice bitterness
Hazy dark brown.
Some nice wheat beer mouth feel, then a fine dose of roasted malt. Cocoa, toast, liquorice. Bittersweet tail. larsga (7676) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 2, 2012
Medium beige head. Hazy opaque dark brown body. Very light
mealy funky aroma. Dry-sweetish-acidic herbal fruity taste with
mealy wheaty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel.
Dry-acidic minty strawy aftertaste (reminiscent of Tinkoff) with
herbal grassy roasty chocolatey notes. Interesting and very
different. Surprisingly drinkable, too. I quite like this
one. (0.2l draft at brewpub.)
