Bergen Ølfestival 2014. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is butterscotsch, caramel, roasted malt, hop, coffee. Flavour is the same. Medium body. Ordinary beer. yngwie (17553) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 23, 2014
On tap at Bergen Ølfestival. An unclear, brown beer topped by a dense, dark beige colored head of finger-thick height. Both the aroma and the flavor has too much butterscotch I think, and that’s my main issue with this beer. It coffee, roasted malts and light vanilla touch is fine though. It’s medium bodied and pleasantly carbonated, but even the finish is too buttery. Not a beer I should have waited for, even though it’s far from bad. 140905 larsga (7690) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 12, 2014
Small beige head. Hazy opaque brown body. Roasty dusty chocolate aroma with wooden meaty notes. Dry-sweet wooden syrupy spicy taste with grainy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish spicy wooden fruity aftertaste with grainy popcorn notes. Nice, drinkable, vivid. (0.2l draft at brewpub.) Finn (8763) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 4, 2014
Fra fat på bryggeripuben 28 Jul 14. Mørk rødbrun. Lavt, litt farget skum. God hasselnøttaroma. Smaken er nøtter & karamell. God balanse. Avslutter litt tørt. Her var det mye nøtter. Artig. Stuu666 (16067) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 1, 2014

On tap at Schouskjelleren, june 28th 2014. Hazy dark brown body, solid beige head. Strong nutty aroma, with crystal malt, fruity hops, chocolate. Taste is bittersweet with lots of nuts, hops and a balancing sweet caramel taste. Pleasant dry palate, with a nice hazelnut finish. Impressive nut domination without going too far in this one. Draft @Schouskjelleren. Dark reddish brown, dense beige head. Big nutty aroma with mild roast and resinous hops. Less than medium full, chalky mouthfeel. Light sweet, nutty and bready flavor. Distinct bitterness throughout. Good stuff. [09.08.13] ads135 (5323) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - SEP 23, 2013
A very nutty ale. Roasted flavor with some pleasant caramel sweetness (the dominant flavor).
