Medium beige shiny head. Clear deep dark brown body. Sugary pine needle and sun-baked pine trees aroma with spicy notes. Dry-sweet intensely herbal and spicy taste with smoky sun-baked pine tree notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish blackberry and smoke aftertaste with roasty earthy notes. I pick up vanilla, too, and vague traces of bourbon. Nice, interesting, weird, complex. A bizarre melange of complexity. (0.2l draft at brewpub.)

From draft @Schouskjelleren. A finger of tanned head leaving excellent lacework. Body is opaque dark brown. Sourish-sweet, well roasted malts in the aroma. Subtle coffee notes. Medium body, chalky mouthfeel. Coffee, like coffee ground, is more prominent in the flavor. Sharp bitterness . Also some fine roasted tones and hint of licorice. Roasty, and hop’n malty-bitter ending. [29.06.13]

Shared with esp0r at Schouskjelleren, june 14th 2013. Dark brown body, creamy tan head. Aroma is roasty with coffee and grass. Light chocolate combined with coffee makes a nice taste, though not very *cappuchino*, not sure if that’s the idea. Bitter palate with a light hoppy finish.

Quite dark, black in glass, tanned head. Smells of roasted malts, toast and coffee. Moderate sweet, coffee and hints of chocolate, roasted malts. Moderate bitter finish. Nice bitter finish. A nice stout, but i don’t understand why it’s called cappuchino stout
