On tap at Olympen. A finger-thick off-white head sits on top of an unclear, amber colored body. Citrus and pine cones, caramel tending towards diacetyl, and some yeast in the aroma. The flavor is too much on the diacetyl side of caramel, without being bad, and there’s also a pleasant bitterness stretching towards the end. Dry, full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. Again, a Schouskjelleren beer that’s clearly not lagered long enough, but it drinks quite nice anyway. 111015 gunnfryd (15330) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 31, 2012
On tap at Olympen 14.10.11. Aroma is butter, malt, fruit, caramel.Flavour is butter, malt, fruit, caramel. Medium body. Too much butter. Beer5000 (6768) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 13, 2012
From tap @ Olympen. Slightly hazy amber with a nice, dense tan head. Good citric fruity aroma with some caramel, sadly a bit marred by a baking yeast character. Moderate bitter, caramel malt and fruity flavor, a bit too much on the sweeter side. Medium body, fine aftertaste. Feels a bit to fresh with the yeast flavor, otherwise definitely a decent IPA. A very fruity aroma and taste, but obviously a strong hop character is present as well. This one is brought down a bit in my book by some sort of yeasty character that doesn’t feel all that welcoming, however it is still a fine brew. ([email protected]

, Oslo. Unclear, deep reddish amber. Firm sand-colored head. Oily hop aromy of resin and pine, with some exotic fruits added. Sweet-scented toasted malts, too. Medium malt body. On the sweet side, with notes of creamed caramal. Bold bitterness. Resinous, citrus-zesty and tropical-fruity hop flavor. Filling. Juicy texture. Minty and fruity hop finish. A rock solid DIPA.
On tap at Olympen. Colour is golden brown with off-white head. Very strong bitter aromas. aromatic. There is also notes of yeast. Dry bitterness and aftertaste thar lasts. larsga (7668) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 5, 2011
Medium beige head. Hazy reddish amber body. Mealy resiny wooden aroma with peppery spicy tropical fruit notes. Dry-sweet tropical fruit, resin and cedar wood taste with buttery mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry-sweet tropical fruit, mint, and strawberry aftertaste with resiny dandelion notes. Really nice. (0.2l draft at brewpub.) On tap @ Schouskjelleren, Oslo. Dark amber body with a small white head. Nose is lemon, amber malty tones, hints of cat piss and peach. Taste is similar in setup: amber malts, herbal grassy cat piss notes and hints of peaches and pine. Quite well made, but somehow something is lacking to get it all in place for me. Tap @ Olympen, Oslo. This is a deep red beer with a nice light creamy to fluffy off-white head that’ lacing nicely down the glass. Aroma is nice and fruity, strawberries and some fruity-yeast and perhaps even some tones of flowers. Average carbonation and the mouthfeel is both oily and slick. Quite hoppy this, but it’s beautifully balanced with caramel-sweet malts. Sticking hopy aftertaste with a nice warming alcohol prickle. Really nice stuff! abemorsten (3683) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - OCT 17, 2011
On tap at Schouskjelleren. Clear orange with a creamy, beige, fingerthick head. Inviting fresh apricot, and peach, but also dried fruits and cat piss on the nose. Sweet, bitter and fruity flavors. Full bodied. Syrupy. Very good.
