Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of raspberries, some butterscotch, caramel and some roasted notes. Flavor is sweet caramel and raspberries with some butterscotch and bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Quite nice bar the butterscotch.
On tap @ Schouskjelleren. This is a deep dark brown one with a medium sized lacing brown top. I get chocolate, wood, cocoa nibs and crystal on the nose. It’s soft to average on the carbonation. All prickling bubbles and the mouthfeel feels oily. Lots of chocolate cocoa and brownies in the flavor. Not a bad porter at all. On tap at Schouskjelleren. Is black in colour with a creamy light beige foam. Has a good aroma of roasted malt, coffee and some dark chocolate. This also reflects the taste, but feels more sweet and with a touch of popcorn and licorice. Mouth feel is smooth and soft, and has a light bitterness. A good porter with a very good coffee touch. esp0r (2931) - NORWAY - MAR 3, 2013

From tap @Schouskjelleren, in company with fellow ratebeerian Rune. Pours an opaque black, with a tanned lace on top. Aroma of well roasted, light ashy dark malts, dry chalky cocoa, and some peppery/earthy hops. Soft and creamy in the mouth. Good body. Taste is cocoa and English licorice. Light sweet, with some fine roasted tones, and a prominent earthy bitterness. Tasty, well balanced and well crafted. [15.09.12] gyllenbock (9977) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 21, 2013

Black with a creamy tan head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, coffee, licorice and some hops. A pleasant one to drink.
On tap at Schouskjelleren, september 9th 2012. Black body with a beige frothy head. Malty aroma, hops, light cherry notes. Taste of licorice, chocolate, coffee, maybe a bit sweet for me. Body feels good, and a good bittersweet finish. Rune (13642) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 23, 2012
Snit glass, draught at the brewpub. Tiny, tan-coloured head. Close to jet black body appearance. Inviting smell of dark, earthy malts sustained by a peaty touch. Taste is mostly bittersweet liquorice and dark chocolate, maybe in the direction of cocoa powder. Smooth bitter liquorice ending. Well blended. Nice, so I went for another one (Oslo, 15.09.2012). gunnar (9760) - Sandnes, NORWAY - SEP 13, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Pours dark as Coke with a small creamy tanned head. Aroma of cocoa and liquorice, malty sweets. Taste is rich liquorice, dark chocolate, easy roasted. Smooth and inviting porter.
