On tap at the brewpub. A dark brown beer with a finger thick ligth tan head. Roasted, almost peaty arome with a touch of coffee, dried fruits and yeast. Probably need a bit more lagering. The flavor follows the same path. A bit yeasty and with some faint notes of dms. Full body, nice carbonation. A touch of bitterness towards the end. Not my choice of imp stout, but far from bad. 111014

On tap @ Schouskjelleren RBNAG-11. Dark brown, almost black body with a small, dense beige head. Fine aroma of fruity hop and dark malt. Flavor is dark malt, coffee, chocolate, dark fruit and balanced bitterness. Fine body and good aftertaste. Easy to drink, good flavor and pleasant beer.

Prøveglass på bryggeripuben 18 Okt 11. Dyprød. Lavt kremaktig skum. Litt uklar. Aroma? Smaken er karamell med litt røstet malt. Holder seg litt på den søte siden hele veien. Antydning til bitterhet i ettersmaken men blir litt ensformig.

Medium brown head. Opaque black body. Fruity roasty chocolatey aroma with licorice and earth notes. Dry-sweet roasty flaked oats and chocolate taste with earthy smoky notes. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Fullish, rounded body. Dryish chocolate, earth and smoke aftertaste with mealy oats notes. Excellent! Highly drinkable and full of flavour. Their best yet. (0.2l draft at brewpub.)

OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 27, 2011
From tap @Schouskjelleren, Oslo. A low dense beige head, covering an unclear dark brown colored body. Harsh-ish malt aroma. Coffee and yeast tones, and a touch of wet cellar. Taste is bitter-sweet and yeasty. Distinct, but rounded roastiness with an ashy touch. Bitterness both from the malts and the hops. Quite thick texture. More than medium full. Sweet, roasty endnotes. Absolutely drinkable, burt appears somewhat unrefined.

ClubGonzo (5670) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 23, 2011
On tap @ Schoukjelleren. Near-black deep brown body, medium light beige head. Nose is mocha, filter coffee, hints of sweet licorice and leather. Taste is filter coffee, sweet licorice and salmiac tones. Hints of leather in the aftertaste. An OK stout, although I think it lacks a bit of what it takes to be "imperial", but that’s a highly debatable topic, as we all know. :-)

Dark brown colour and light brown head. Aroma is roasty and coffee. Some bitterness to blend a medium sweetness. (Tap)

14.10.2011. On tap at the brewpub. Dark brown colour with off-white head. Aroma is dominated by dark roasted malts and nice flavours of malts and bitternes. There are notes of bitter chocolate and maybe some kind of smoke. Very good beer!
