Light, slightly hazy yellow with a big, dense, creamy, rocky head. Looks great. Smells.. pretty wierd. It has, of course, their trademark wierd chemical/hair product aroma, along with very ripe banana, light citric acidity, with some floral and spicy notes. As it warms it gets a funky sour aroma, sort of gueuze-like. The hair product fades as it warms as well, and I got to say I prefer the funkiness. Flavour is of grapefruit, banana, loads of yeastiness and a spiced finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. It’s alright, but not clean in the slightest, and not without flaws. Looked incredible though. Rune (14050) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAY 9, 2011
Taster, draught at the brewpub in Oslo. Hazy, yellow body. Tiny head blanketing the glassware. Aroma of wheat and lighter notes of dried fruits. Taste of malted wheat added by lemon and spices. Tolerable sweet, soft and likable. In addition to four beers bought at the brewpub the bartender gave us a Rug IPA, 76 IBU, and 6.2% abv which, in fact, was the best one this afternoon (in happy company with KnutAlbert telling me about his latest trip to Berlin, 27.04.2011). larsga (7690) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 3, 2011
Medium white head. Hazy opaque yellow body. Floral herbal spicy aroma with papery licorice (actually polypodium vulgare) notes. Dry-sweet licorice cardamom and coriander taste with papery mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish herbal chalky licorice aftertaste with citric papery oily notes. Rather dense spice, and not very fresh. Not too impressed. (0.4l draft at brewpub.) garza (574) - Oslo (NO), Caracas (VE), VENEZUELA - APR 24, 2011
Pours cloudy yellow look with a thin white-off head. Fruity and light spiced aroma. Refreshing spiced round flavour, herbal. Lightly bitter. Medium body, oily feel, soft carbonation, long but light bitter after taste. Good one. KnutAlbert (6815) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 17, 2011
On tap at the brewpub.
Wheaty malt feeling, hazy yellow. Somewhat metallic. Soapy coriander, citrus, banana. A sour edge.

On tap at premises. Hazy grayish golden colour. Aroma of wheat, citrus, honey and dishwater. Belgian in style. Taste also has a licorice element. Fairly rough hop bitterness. Quite drinkable, but nothing extraordinary. OleR (4801) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 12, 2011

, Oslo. Low offwite head. Cloudy straw-golden body. Peppery dry malts and a whiff of honey to the nose. Also a yeast tone and a hard to pin-point spicyness. Soft and mellow, honeyed malt flavor. Noticable yeast. A fair amount of spices added, providing an almost soapy mouthfeel. Medium body strengt. Oily, almost succulent texture. Quite interesting with ok drinkability. Even better with more lagering, I suppose.
