Weird, a bit sour aroma, with a touch of cherry, but also quite unpleasant spoiled, almost wild notes. Black, almost non-transparent. Small beige head, awesome lacing. In taste it’s even more weird. First - has a strong alcoholic flavour. Second - it’s like a blend of sour fruit beer, foreign extra stout and an american pale ale. It’s quite good but I don’t believe it suppose to be like that. First it’s sour, then gain typical stout flavours, then it’s super hoppy an in the end taste like stout. Nice, smooth, medium body, fine aftertaste. Quite an intriguing one.

On tap at Schouskjelleren. Liquorice, coffee, packs a punch. Lots of flavor packed into this one.

Fra fat på Olympen. Svart. Middels høyt mokkafarget skum som daler sakte og etterlater teppeskum. Utmerket aroma av sukkertøy. Smaken er "Kongen av Danmark". God. Blir tørr etter hvert. Mangler variasjon.

On tap at Sandar Bryghus. Pitch black color, some foam. Medium/ high aroma intensity; hoppy, leather, roasted and coffee. Medium/ full body & complexity . Good bitterness and balance. Very enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Cafe Fiasco. Black with almost no head. Chocolate nose, more prominent bitterness in the mouth, but sweeter chocolate and fruit still prevail. Not bad.

On tap at Schouskjelleren Mikrobryggeri, Oslo. Very dark, close to pitch black, with a fairly modest, beige head. Surprisingly herbal and floral aroma, something reminds me of wormwood, then the more expected roasty notes with coffee and chocolate. Strange, but it grows, and it’s certainly bitter and powerful enough. Not completely convinced, but certainly interesting enough.

Powerful and tasty evening sipper in the dungeon. One more please.
Pitch black stuff with a fine beige head. Ok lacing. Chocolate, pine, hoppy and coffee in the aroma with a good intensity. Full body and a soft carbonation. Oily texture. Some alcohol, chocolate, pine, resin, coffee and fruity.
