Draft @Schouskjelleren. Unclear straw colored, low white top. Mild sweet wheaty banana aroma. Soft and sappy wheaty banana flavor. Some yeast tones, baely any spice phonoles. Drinks ok, a bit undistinct and boring. [09.08.13] Palme (4817) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 9, 2013
On tap @ Schouskjelleren. Damn, this is hazy and yellow dishwater colored in the glass and it has a nice heavy lacing medium sized big white head. The nose has lots of nice sweet wheat tones, it get a little bit of yeast and some cardboard hints. Also there is a good amount of bugg banana. Smells quite nice. It has a surprisingly rich, thick and pleasing mouthfeel and the carbonation is soft and prickling. First lots of sweet yeast and wheat before it turns quite grainy and almost a bit papery in the mouth. Lots of that bugg banana in the taste as well. Super easy too drink, but I’m thirsty as a camel right about now, so if think anything would taste good. Ends with a little bit of floral water and a yeasty little hint with some faint acidity in the finish and aftertaste. 13.10.2013 3fourths (9357) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 23, 2013
Draft at Schouskjeller in Oslo. Cloudy pale yellow with a white head. Banana fruitiness and saccharine / sugar in the nose with some banana, wheat, light pepper phenols, some mineral content. A bit boring and wonky, not off or flawed but out of balance in it’s limp banana / fruit cup character. Medium effervescence, prickly phenols, high acidity. Taffy yeast and runts candy. Limp body, could use less residual sugar.
Turns sweet and sour in the finish with paint-like yeast and dirty acids. Holmen1 (6308) - Stavanger, NORWAY - NOV 21, 2013
On tap at Schouskjelleren. Hazy pale yellow with a small, white head. Moderate wheaty aroma with mild banana, cloves and a hint of yeast and citrus. Medium sweet with a moderate fruitiness and some lightly sour notes. Quite decent, but a bit weak in flavour.
