Hazy orangey amber body. Low dense off-white cream top. Pleasently sharp husky and grainy rye aroma. Lots of dark bread, with spices and herbs added. Full-flavored. Grainy, peppery rye bread flavor, with herbal and vegetal tones. Tight bitterness. Very well-bodied for a 5.6 percenter. Rustic, tasty and well crafted. Hazy copper, fluffy head.
Pleasant pumpernickel flavour - like a slice of Baltic sour rye bread. Among their more innovative brews, ant this time they got it right. Not overly sour, more like an English ESB with extra dimensions added. Fine English hoppiness, too.
Their beers keep getting better.
