Small beige head. Slightly hazy dark red body. Fruity mineraly aroma with caramelly notes. Sweetish fruity mineral taste with raisiny notes. Mid-to-thin body. Mild, fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish earthy barnyard aftertaste with mineraly burnt grain and fruit notes. Some butter. Nice, drinkable, and vivid. Perhaps a bit thin. (0.2l draft at brewpub.)

OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 14, 2014
Dark brown with a reddish hue. Low beige head. Christmas-spicy nose. Some gently roasted dark malts and a whiff of tinned fruits. Mid-bodied. Soft mouthfeel. Light sweet and peppery malt flavor. Spicy with soapy sidenotes. Discreet bitterness. Warm spicy ending. Drinks ok. A straightforward winter warmer. [Draft at Schouskjelleren, 13.03.14]

On tap at Schouskjelleren. February 7th 2014. Dark red body with a small tanned head. Aroma of brown malt, cinnamon, orange, good christmas associations here. Taste is carried by a medium thick malt base, cinnamon and coriander are notable but discreet. Sweet licorice finish with a low bitterness. A nice not over the top christmas brew.

From tap at the brewpub, 8.6 % abv. Deep rosewood coloured body. Spotty lacing from a faint, tan-coloured head. Fine aroma of dark malts and dark fruits. Grainy chocolate taste joined liquorice and discreet, dark, mid-sweet spices. Nice bittering hops to the ending added by warming alcohol. Well bodied. Tasty (Oslo 11.03.2014).

KnutAlbert (6750) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 22, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Very deep red. Spicy, bittersweet, deceivingly light for the ABV. Cherries, citrus. Pleasant bitter tail, the spices are not overplayed.
