Erzengel (9613) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAY 16, 2014
The beer starts smooth, hints of sharpness, slightly sourish. The mainpart continues a bit unround, smooth but sharp. The aftertaste is a bit mouldy, typical "Erzquell-taste" (I think it is the yeast). ThirstyBird (3011) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 23, 2014
Not my favourite, but fits in the Erzquell-range very well. 7/10/8/7
Pours a bright pale yellow with a fluffy white head. The smell is grain, light fruit, grass. The taste is Grain, light sweet malt, some fruit notes ending with a touch of dryness. The body is a bit heavier than most kölschbiers, a little oily with very nice, fine carbonation structure. Beerhunter111 (22958) - P´Castle, GERMANY - APR 1, 2014
