A 0.5L bottle shared at One Pint Pub. Pale head. Slightly hazy pale golden yellow colour. Thin but malty taste. Crisp hoppiness. omhper (25949) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 9, 2008
Draught at the brewpub. Deep golden, brief minimal head.Lightly caramelly and buttery with lots of salty hoppiness. Dry, yet a bit fruity. Warming and full flavoured with long bitters finish. A well balanced rustic beer with character. pivnizub (10906) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUN 10, 2007
On tap at the brewpub: Creamy, stable white head; faint malty-hoppy nose, moderate bitter-sweet flavour; lingering, robust bitter-sweet finish. O.K., nothing special....... bierkoning (13813) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - MAY 31, 2005
Old fashioned type swing top bottle with a single neck label. Bottle sold at the brewery by an elderly man, probably the brewer, who spoke a Franconian dialect that was almost impossible to understand for a foreigner who does speak the German language. Golden color. Boiled milk and manure in the aroma. Malty, firmly hopped beer with a lot of barnyard character. I will be amazed if this brewery still exists in 5 years or so. But I will definitely check in 2010 or so.... jbrus (4988) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - JUL 11, 2003
Bread and butter aroma. Little hazy, golden, small white head, few lace. Start bitter but than suddenly disappears and is replaced by a buttery flavor and feeling, light. Long lasting and again bitter finish.
