[Tap] Golden pour with a faint haze. About a half inch of white foam on top. Crisp, hoppy nose. Notes of spruce come out as the beer warms. Tasting notes include rye bread, lighter grains and pine cones. Lingering herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied. Highly drinkable. A nicely done pale ale.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a clear yellow gold color with a white head. The aroma has some weird herbals going on with some rosemary and pine needles, maybe some juniper? The flavor is similar. Leafy herbals with strong spicy pine, spruce and some light summer fruit, melon and cracker malts. Lower carbonation with a bready and herbal/piney finish. Too much spiciness for me, but not in an astringent way. Pretty interesting actually. It grew on me a bit as I sipped it.
