yespr (45412) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 4, 2011

joergen (28102) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2005
Clear yellow coloured with a small white head. Aroma of malts, spices and corn. Flavour of malts with fruity notes.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2005
(Can 50 cl) Presumably Martens is willing to sell their soul to anybody. This is yet another contract brewed discount pilsener. Pilsener golden with a nice, creamy head. Soft, sweetish malt. Not unpleasant - just completely characterless. 290705

Grottig!! Test vom 27.3.2006, Gebinde: Dose Noten: 10,1,2,1,2,1 - 2,10

bierkoning (13349) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - NOV 18, 2002
Worty aroma. Sweetish, worty taste, slightly metallic. Bland, cheap supermarket beer.

Camons (12438) - Hasselager, DENMARK - AUG 5, 2014

kevnic2008 (11996) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - JUL 13, 2012
Can. Poured a gold with white foam head, thin lacing. A dry hop flavor.

sebletitje (10080) - Enghien, BELGIUM - FEB 28, 2012
50cl can @ Aldi.

JorisPPattyn (9981) - Ursel, BELGIUM - DEC 4, 2003
Pale straw colour; very huge head, ever so slightly yellowish, quite lacey. Very typical malt-cum-grassy-German hops nose. Not too bad, nothing daring. Typical German-style imitation. Flat, sweet malt flavour, with even some liquorice. Faint metallic tang in the palate, but always sweet. Watery mouthfeel, unsatisfying. Dreary supermarket Pilsener for the European masses wherever. Bweeuh. "Edelpils", my $&*!

Sampled 50 cl. can @ Kulminator poured into a big EKU ceramic mug – this is one of those really cheap beers that you see around in Aldi over here, popular with the welfare people, homeless people seem the prefer this brand less, maybe because it is a couple of cents more expensive than the other ones – although not expensive, the mark-up that he played for this must have been insane – no idea what the colour is because of the ceramic nature of the mug, depressing greyish head – smell like sweet grains & caramel candy – taste like sweet grains, white bread, banana, caramel candy, cheap malts, not overtly sweet but you get some of that cheep lager, grain sweetness deal here, touch grass, hint metallic, easy bitterness – body feels quite watery – there are only two ways in which these kinds of macro pils / pale lager type of stuff can be drinkable, either it is so utterly bland that it taste almost like water or the adjunct & cheep malts add a sweetness to it which masks the bad flavours & makes it tolerable, this is in the latter camp, aimed at the lower classes, this is actually preferable to some of the terrible Belgian Pilsner which the higher up class consume here
