kermis (13869) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAR 23, 2016
Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Clear brown with a medium tan head. Aroma of caramel, toffee and sweet malt. Flavour is heavy sweet, too much. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

jmgreenuk (9533) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - OCT 18, 2015
Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Poured a clear medium brown with a thin broken, off white head. The aroma is sweet malt. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a sweet, rather sickly malt, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Way too sweet which dominates everything.

thanatosti (1738) - Culemborg, NETHERLANDS - OCT 12, 2013
33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Aldi. Reddish brown with a thin offwhite head. Faint caramel aroma. Sweet caramel taste and that’s basically it. No dept, no character, no lasting impression.

Christos (5857) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - NOV 11, 2012
Bottle of 330 ml, at home. Poured into a snifter glass. ABV 6,5%. Dark ruby colour with a finger of beige head. Low retention, no lacing left behind. Not much of a smell, some malts mostly. Taste is sweet, with malts, caramel and some alcohol traceable. A bit skunky. Little dryness on the palate, quite carbonated. Thin to medium body. Overall, certainly not the greatest of bocks, but I can say I am not as disappointed as I expected, by reading other reviews.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, amber beer with a small, beige head. Sugary, fruity nose with a herbal touch and some hops. Raisins too. The flavor is on the sweet side, fruit candy springs to mind, with a faint note of raisins and herbs. Medium body, sticky sweet. Overall, too sweet and candyish, but it doesn’t taste bad in any way. 110415
